This weekend you can sign with the Double Blues - and then you can lay claim to each of the last nine flags!

Heart says Sturt by about 2-3 goals...

Brain says Dogs by about 2-3 goals... (they'll be pretty dirty after last weeks loss)

Should be a great game with a strong crowd...

I've just checked the weather forecast: showers Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday = Centrals by 31-40 + crowd = 4,000 odd.

According to the SANFL website these teams have never played a draw. Centrals have won 55 times and Sturt 51.

According to records, no they have not drawn before tigerhutch...

From 106 games played between these 2 clubs it is Central 55 wins to Sturts 51...

Central have actually won 6 out of the last 9 games played against these 2 sides, but...

Sturt have won the last 3 encounters at Unley with the Dogs last win there back on June 2nd 2006, Round 3.

Yeah, should be a cracker of a game, hopefully the weather stays good otherwise the boggy middle at Unley will change the game slightly and for Centrals fans, they'd be hoping to break the 3 game losing streak at Unley Oval and not have 2 losses in a row.

Who wants top spot next week? Deserving of a big, big crowd in our little, little stadium. I hope the two sides put on a cracker display of SANFL footy. Can't say who will win, I think both sides have been a bit up and down yet have continued to win games. Perhaps Central will be the hungrier after last week's loss while the Blues still took the points and a bit of percentage last week to mask a performance riddled with errors by all accounts.
A good hit out for both sides to find out exactly what they are lacking IMO.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Last really wet game we played against the Doggies in 2002 (Unley,) we were thrashed by 50 points yet went on to win the Premiership.

Shapes as a great contest. Central will be snarling after their poor showing at Oval Avenue. Highlights all over the ground.

Home ground advantage should see Sturt win just.

As an aside it would appear the Power were due to meet the Double Blues this week in regards to Mitch Farmer being a fixture in the reserves.
Could be in another guernsey very quickly if they're not happy with the reason.
Would appear though that his attitude wasn't the best early on in the year but hopefully his performance against Norwood 2's has rectified that.

I think it would be remiss of Port not to talk to any club who was playing their players in any side other than their league side just to touch base, find out what the club thinks about the progress of the player and their prospects of playing in the 1s. Sadly, it seems that the Power only talk to the SANFL clubs when they want the clubs to do their bidding or lose the players. The crows, from an outside perspective going on whispers, appear to be better at dealing with SANFL clubs and don't seem to be big believers of players moving clubs.
