Just pleased to play close to 4 good quarters, nothing more ... and no-one expected a 61 point win, especially in the wet.

norwood = an over rated rabble.
glenelg = best performance for the year (so far) but at times it looked more like a training gallop as there was very little resistance from norwood, i thought glenelgs best player in the first term was keiran macguiness (yes that's what i mean) while over the full game i'd have fisher, holmes & grima but you could put the 'all played well' in the paper, i just wonder whether 2 games in a row losing by less than a goal has broken the heart/spirit of norwood as there appeared to be none out there tonight

glenelg = likely 2nd-4th finish at the end of the minor round while for norwood it is a 7th-9th finish
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Norwood were amazingly 2nd fav for the flag pre-season but NO serious punters rated them that highly

I am at a loss for words tonight following this game yes we were good and out intensity and attack on the footy was easily the best this year but I fon't know what to make of Norwood, did they come to play???

After pushing Centrals last game i was concerned about this game. However were Centrals below par that game and made Norwood look better?

Anyhow back to my side relieved to see a much better effort this week fisher was absolutely sensational yes he got a lot of teh footy but it was his attack on the ball and in and under work that was great to see. Richard O'Grady and Chris Kane were excellent I thought with their attack on the footy and their application to the contest. Grades work in teh 3rd quarter when hopelessly out of teh contest to push over to it dive in and win teh free was fantastic. he got to teh pill first and when teh Norwood player who should ahve got it fell into his back well afree kick was the only result. he then proceeded to run around teh norwood player to set up goal. Great work young fella!!! Special mention to Chris hall who set the standard with a punch from behind in teh 3rd minute in our forward 50 that fell to Fish for our 2nd goal.

And big trev disappointed for you that you didn't make teh state squad as you deserve to be there but glad you get rest. Tonight like Fish you were your typical self getting taps and then down on your hands and knees getting teh ball and feeding it out. Ruory kirkby may have won himself a state guernsey. Has been very good over the last four weeks. Should ahve kicked a bag tonight only got 2-5.

So all in all good to sit 6-2 after barely playing above 50% capacity for the first 8 games.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Trevor Hill can now sit in the same boat as Terry Wallace. Must go at seaons end, has been there too long with no results ont the board. Personally I would like to see Brodie Atkinson in charge next year.
What a Dibarcle! Left at Half time last night after watchin that crap that the redlegs dish up far to often. The legs were far to slow for there opponents and were often left flat footed around ball ups and throw ins. Once again we tried to play the pretty handball game which is all well and good when it comes off, but caused to many turnovers which fed the tigers all night.

As for night football perhaps Norwood should give up the idea because they clearly cannot adapt to the slippery dewy conditions at night.

Where to for Norwood? The club will be unable to participate in recruiting outside of their zones, and if players retire or leave at the end of the year its hard to see how they will increase the quality of their list without having that option. Sacking Trevor Hill will only bring in another coach to work with the same or worse list.

How the hell isn't Cranston in the State Squad?

Great performance by the Bays, interested in Bays fans assessment of their game this week compared to when they played North last week, was it just North's flooding defensive style that made the Bays look ordinary (and North even more ordinary)?

Great crowd considering the conditions, they were atrocious and turned me off going as well as many others I'd imagine, well done to those who made it.

There were signs last week that the Bays could put in this type of performance soon ... the intensity and workrate for the 2 weeks were both very good but the main difference was the composure and system up forward.

and Cranston ... he's a gem isn't he? Don't know either.

alright now Ive sobered up....

Thats the Bays team we have been hoping for all season but had yet to see, thats is probably the more fiercest and agrressive Ive seen a Bays team for a while, including last year, sensational, esp coming of a 6 day break where our opponents came off the bye.

I reckon there was a slight change to the game plan with Grima (who was great) being isolated inside 50 which worked great

a very even team performance....some hope has returned to Brighton Road

Yeah but North smashed Central at Prospect last season, keeping them goalless in the second half, yet we missed the Finals while they took another flag.

All that is irrelevant. Fact is Glenelg played very well last night, and they thumped us. From a Norwood point of view, I just wonder why teams like Glenelg, Sturt and North play like champions against us and like lame ducks when they meet Central.
