I doubt they'll ease up for a game that they have 13 days to prepare for.

A non issue as theyll be playing for North on Sunday in a trial game against the state Under 18 side.

bookies appear to be confident ...

Sturt $1.03
Panthers $10

... by the way, wondering if Chambo paid for Sam Rudolph's African trip?

The only interest in this game is how many Brant kicks and how much the Blues win by. My tip: Brant 12 and a Blues win by 15 gls.

Apparently the match is to be telecast on the ABC - clearly a match that will promote the SANFL competition......

With Norwood and Glenelg playing tonight and Centrals and Port in action tomorrow night, the toss up for the broadcast game was either this one (Sturt v South) or West v Eagles, only leaving the ABC one of two options to pick from.

Personally I think the West v Eagles will probably be the better (or closer) game but perhaps they thought the prospect of Brant Chambers kicking another massive bag of goals was the better option for the larger viewing public.

I thought the games were picked well ahead of the rounds, to cover teams reasonably evenly.

Sometimes probably can go against the logical match of the day.
I guess the ABS can't fully predict the sanfl form that far out.

Only 2 Saturday day games this week - the only other choice was West vs Eagles @ City Mazda and if memory serves me correctly in the earlier game we've played it was the broadcast game that day so the logical choice in this instance is Sturt vs South.
