Looks like 2 potenitally high scoring sides on paper, be interesting to see what the game is like as opposed to some shoot outs they had in the past when Jars was coaching.

Looking forward to this match. Must be hard to get a gig if Thommo's been ommitted. His form hasn't been too shabby throughout the first part of the season. Right now I hope he and Motlop get enough games in so they qualify for the finals before they get the call up for the Power.

You are thinking of his older brother Wade who is Power listed mate. Kriston is the one who has been ommitted, Wade has been named on the interchange bench so will be playing.

To qualify for SANFL finals (as long as they are then given permission by their AFL club) the player(s) must play in 3 minor round games and I would be confident in saying both Wade and Marlon have already qualified for North.

Thanks for that. Just getting back into the swing of things SANFL style. (and lovin' it) It used to be 5 games I think. Anywho, thanks again.

The way Wade Thompson has been playing, he's very lucky it wasnt him that got dropped.
-Still hasnt convinced me from feeling he's got a touch of speedy squib about him.

Good call G - if Tapscott and Archard were available I think Wade would have joined his brother in the ressies and I would think Sloane would be an out as well. All 3 were ineffective last week but Sloane and both Thompson boys looked lazy and didn't run hard enough off the ball and that tends to make players look soft. Wade has been a big disappointment wearing the red and white this year so hopefully the coach has had a word and Wade might use his explosive pace to put on more defensive pressure when the ball is in our fwd line.

Steve Barrett was on the 5RPH League Teams Show last night and mentioned there will be a past players tent for both sides at the game tomorrow and will be paying their respects to 'Bristles'.

Great work by the Bays to respect Mike in this way, something I'm sure North Adelaide are very appreciate of. Well done to all involved in what is a sad occassion.

We'll win if our forwards and runners man up on their opponents for the entire game.
