LEAGUE:
Full Forward: Scott Dutschke Daniel Schell Daniel Havelberg
Half Forward: Chad O'Sullivan Matthew Westhoff Chris Gowans
Centre Line: Lee Spurr James Gowans Kyle Jenner
Half Back: Paul Thomas Justin Hardy Ryan Williams
Full Back: Brad Symes Yves Sibenaler Brayden O'Hara
Ruck: Jonathon Griffin Eddie Sansbury Matthew Slade
Int: Ashley Duncan, Thomas Dunne, Jonathon Giles, Jason Mackenzie & Adam Switala
RESERVES:
From: Allocca, Barmby, Brading, Christmann, Economou, Frail, Foldesdy, Habel, Hadden, Hayes, Henderson, Hynes, Kelly, Lawry, Matson, McShane, Nason, Porter, Reichert, L. Westhoff, Whiley, White.
Interesting that Scott Dutschke is named in a pocket despite whispers about a back problem. Griffin back from the Crows is a bonus for the Dogs although the Crows said he is suffering tonsilitis and may still not play in the local league. Good to see Brad Symes named in the back pocket also, despite being named in the Crows sqaud.
For me, if Griffin plays than unfortunately Jonathon Giles will probably go back to the 2's, while I hope young Ash Duncan gets his league debut which would have to be at the expense of probably Adam Switala. A bonus for Centrals as mentioned earlier is that Moran and Davenport have been called up from West for AFL duties.
Great to see 2 names back in the reserves side as well with Andrew Hayes named to have his first run of season 2009 and forgotton man Todd Whiley, who played some good footy in the 2's last year for Centrals, is also listed to play his first game in the red, white and blue for 2009.

Will be at the game - taking my daughter to her first Doggies match. Another generation joins the throng.

Pretty certain - Myles Krakouer is the son of either Phil or Jim, but can't remember which.

The league have named 23, so 2 will drop back and I'm sure they've named interchange players.
Another West supporter has noted we have 11 AFL players in Adelaide to call on and none will be available for us this week.

Chris Schmidt is rookie listed with the Adelaide Crows and named in your league side from the back pocket...
But still, 10 out of 11 AFL listed players is quite amazing. Shows what a great breeding ground Westies are doesn't it...
