Both sides have a few outs but Im confident of a North victory ;) ;)

Surely 2 of Schulz, Kite and Stopp will come in this week? We need some extra height in defence.

Alleway always hurts us so he needs to be stopped.
I am confident in our list if not our game plan.
Think Norwood and North are at about the same place right now so should be an interesting contest.
Would be more confident at Prospect though...ha ha.
I wonder if two teams have had such a situation in the past 10 years. North usually wins at Norwood and Norwood very often wins at Prospect !

Mmmmm Norwood for mine !

Personally i think North are really average skill wise, too many players burn the ball to often, the main culprits been Ryswyk, Stribling, Archard and Allen, they are all very very talented ball winners but their entries inside 50 are terrible. On the small parade oval pinpoint accuracy is crucial and i think this is where North will struggle.

Norwood will more than likely lose Rodan to the power which will definately hurt but i think they have a few guys they can run through the midfield. Norwood are up and running at the moment and on there home deck should be very hard to beat. They finished above North last season and i think they have improved their squad moreso than North this season.

Also can North find a nice balance which can have White, Alleway and Stewart all in the forward line at the same time, If they can thats without doubt the best tall forward trio in the competition IMHO.

Norwood by 22pts.

Just goes to show you that you need to actually either watch a game coupled with some football knowledge! Stating that Archard and Allan are average skill wise re burning the ball is simply a dumb uneducated comment. Stribling falls into that category based on his first two games despite getting plenty of it. Clearly you have no clue if you think White is playing in the fwds - CHB so far, Stewart has been splitting his time off the bench and up fwd as second ruck so in theory our main two tall targets are Schwarze and Alleway!

Keep trying WHUFC - you might get it right one day!

Hang on, Norwood up and running? north being shaky after only having a win against Port? Norwood have won two games out of three. one againsdt the same side we beat, port who are currently winless, one against south, who's own people admit they will probably struggle this year, and a loss against sturt, who are below them on the ladder. how does that show better form than north? North are one win one loss, and our loss was against the most dominant side that this competition has seen in decades(hate to admit it but its true) with a much younger, inexperienced side than we have had in previous years. i do think it will be a reasonably close game, which north will win, but to those predicting a walkover by norwood you would seriously have to be kidding yourselves!

I wouldn't worry too much about others thoughts mate, it doesn't affect either teams chances .. The only thing that matters is who's in front at final siren on Friday night.

As weird as this might sound, Im looking forward to seeing North in action .. Their squad and coaching box has changed so much from last year, it will be good to see them first hand to draw fresh conclusions.

Might not see all you need to either CP? With North's mounting injury list along with the Power's woes, we might yet lose Stewart to the full list and playing with PP!!! If he goes we will have to bring up young Baulderstone to ruck given that McEntee, Dodman and O'Hara are the other ruckman and all are on the injury list! God help us if Ackland goes down with an injury!

We would have already lost the following players from our first 2 games (granted 1 is a full list AFL palyer, Thompson added to the full list late in pre-season and now Stewart being elevated?) it still doesn't help with a huge turnover, still rebuilding re depth and alot of youth in the mix:
Gill, Younie, Thompson, Sporn, Whyman, Tapscott and now Stewart?

If Stewart doesn't play Friday night it will be very hard for us to win IMO.

Yeah true mate, I knew you guys were feeling the pinch in the physio room .. Between the blokes missing that I've seen before and the stye you play on Friday, It should still give a reasonable indication - You guys have had a habit of including some good kids in recent years too.

Where did i say White IS playing forward, i said IF they could fit them in the forward line it would be the most dangerous trio in the SANFL.

Archard and Allen do burn the ball especially when kicking over 30 meters, against Central both these players were very inneffective going inside 50.

but Drebin you can keep thinking all your players are superstars despite the fact they are an average football team.

VERY VERY suprised that the Power didn't bring David Rodan back into the line up so no doubt Legs fans will be pleased to see him in the red and blue tomorrow night...

I wonder who the travelling emergency(s) will be ? It could be Rodan or even Nick Lower who is also unlucky to not be playing AFL this week. As long as Rodan doesn't qaulify for finals ;)

One of the most encouraging things for many years in SANFL, and all leagues in general, umpiring, is seeing female umpires coming through the ranks - noting the Under 16 game here, as well as the Port Adelaide v Woodville/West Torrens Under 16 game, both on boundary and goal in that match.

Great to see recognition for a lot of hard work in another area that, 20 years ago, would never have seen a female play a part in.

Here here CK, well said...

Of course we have a female goal umpire in the AFL up in Brisbane so it is great that these young ladies have someone to look up to as well...

Well done to the SANFL and good luck to the girls with their career...

Well said CK. There was a female umpire in the u/16s when West played South down at Norlunga a few weeks ago

Ok fair point. obviously need to start proof reading my posts hey! Guess we will all find out who's predictions are right soon enough, not long now till bounce down. i am surprised that both sides didnt lose more players to the power failures, should mean an even better game for us tonight then hey. And i dont think i will be taking your advice, will definately be sampling the coopers while at the game tonight, sorry to disappoint. might just need to get weslo to keep an eye on me in case i have more than i can handle hey!

Good to see young Nathan Brown get an opportunity at league level with the Roosters after croassing over from Westies.

I saw a little bit of him last year in the reserves at the Bloods and was impressed with him in the State Under 18's v 20's game.

Good luck to the Loxton lad, hope he plays well.
