Quarter Time

Centrals 2.6.18
Sturt 2.1.13

Centrals dominated that quarter (as the 8 scoring shots to 3 would suggest). Centrals just need to be a tad more accurate.

Dutchy, the reserves finished at about 1:40pm here (the heat rule is in force).

Half Time

Centrals 6.11.47
Sturt 3.4.22

Once again Centrals inaccuracy is the only stopping the scoreline blowing out.

3 qtr time

Centrals 12.11.83
Sturt 4.11.35

This time it was Sturt's term to have the kicking yips, whilst Centrals were kicking them from just about anywhere.

:( What's up with Moss? He's one of my favourites and his chance of getting into the league side anytime soon have taken a hit. Ditto with Henderson but he was always going to start in the reserves.

So the real Dogs rocked up today after "lying doggo" the first two weeks of the trial games.

They sure no how to prepare for the season proper...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

If anyone would like to see pics of todays game check out http://www.sturtcheersquad.com/apps/pho ... id=4866480
Once again mainly Sturt pics but there are a few there that Dogs supporters would like.
Outclassed today by a team prepared to work harder. Not very happy with the performance at all except there was no injuries to either team from what I saw.
No excuses, both teams had key players out so not much to say except bring on round 1.

Are you underestimating Westies Tassie?
I know they are only trials but Westies backed last weeks game up by smashing Port today.

I'll reserve my judgement on Westies until I see them, the difference between Centrals good and how they played against us....

No Magarey Medalist or Ken Farmer medalist yesterday for Sturt. Herring was rested too. Pretty big outs I would've thought.

Centrals probably would've won still if they had played, IMO, but I don't think it would've been by 12 goals.

Just a little question to the Sturt supporters.Who is a better player, John McDonald or Brodie Martin?Personally I reckon McDonald would be on my rookie list at the Crows instead of Martin.

Both players are injured at the moment...

Mossey had hip surgery the other week so I'm not sure how far away he is and I think Henderson has a knee injury at the moment...

To me, its pretty obvious that the reason that McDonald isn't on a rookie (or main) AFL list is because of factors others than his playing ability. Martin in contrast has been praised for his maturity and leadership skills.

Alot of players were out for Centrals,
so it will be interesting once both teams have their normal league players back.....

Sorry GWW but I`m more interested in what a Sturt supporter has to say regarding my question.I dont think it is that obvious at all and when you think about it how many times do the Crows select the wrong player.
