What do people think about young Dawson from the Eagles. I hear they are hiding him in the lower grades so the Crows can pick him up easily in the draft. Would have played league by now if this wasn't the case.

i was about to mention dawson, played against him twice this year kicked 10 and 8 i think and took 4 hangers, hes a freak and doesnt miss. could just be a bit small to play in the AFL to play the possition that the eagles have steriotyped him to.

GOLDSWORTHY is all class.

BOCK, spastic zero natural ability, doesnt even know what hes doin out there but because hes 10 foot tall gets a look in.

HANK, spud

HARRIS, very good player, just doesnt give him alot of hope when he is 2 foot nine.

IMO

The Eagles wouldn't have much to gain by promoting a 17 year old. However, if the Crows get him it means he stays in SA and will provide more valuabble service to the Eagles later on. It also helps secure good relations with the Crows which could be helpful when they want Crows players to play SANFL finals.

Just passing on what I've heard G and was interested to find out whether other people thought he was that good(he did play state 18s). But don't let that stop you from trying to make yourself looksmart G.

Do you mean all the football skills went to one brother and none to the other?
Statistically, it could happen in the genetic lottery, but it would be rather unusual...

no mate if AFL clubs show any interest in a player, there SANFL team is notified and nominates the player, i believe the club covers all costs that way but when you nominate yourself he will be paying his own way.

Are you saying football ability is purely by genetic factors and not by environmental ones as well?

Xiavier Watson from Port
Shane Harris from Eagles
Trengrove from Sturt
Tyson Davis Neale from South
Jesse Stringer from Port

Trengrove is all quality, uses the ball very well.

Jesse Stringer from Port also has alot of poise, and may not play league footy next year but will push the year after.
