Not sure about everyone else but I was SHOCKED when I heard there was 'only' 15k. Seemed pretty close to 20...

Given I thought there were 11-12,000 for the first game alone, I cant see how only another 4-5000 turned up for game 2. Fester may be right - they weren't scanning tickets only visualising them so that figure could be well down.

Don't forget the media contingent was also up 600% today!

Easily 20,000 at the game, do SACA members get counted (?) i saw no evidence of that. Surely the SANFL need this figure as accurate as possible in order to promote this great comp, or would revealing the accurate attendence figure upset the insipid and elderly SANFL administrators lords and masters.....the AFL. Dimitrou would be lementing AFL crowds less than 20k while the comp he and other Victorians want under their control produces both wonderful football and vocal crowds as witnessed yesterday.

There was no scanning equipment at Adelaide Oval yesterday. The Wereslow people had to physically think when letting people in. When I walked up to the gate I could see about 5m out the usual scanner for my members card/ticket was nowhere to be seen. Asked the Wereslow what was the go and he took my members card checked that it was current and said Have a good day. How wrong he was :?

Let's hope the forecast for next Sunday is a day out.
Saturday expected to be showery (late) and 25; while windy and showery at 18 is great football weather, it isn't as great crowd weather.

I, for one, hope it belts down all day.

Heya REB, how goes it up there in Sunny Queensland?
I'll be catching up with a Norwood fan next weekend at the first game.
Even season, anyone can grab it from here still (albeit injuries might have made the 'Legs' task a darn sight harder). I thought DUIGAN had a terrific game, alas the hammy...
