Could we perhaps change the thread title to: Adelaide Plains 2009 Mail Medal Medallist?

From where I have been sitting in the past few weeks, having seen every game the Eagles have played in the past month, Cicca doesn't appear to have the hunger and passion for the game anymore. Granted he showed some glimpses of his best in the final term yesterday, but the game was well and truly over at that point. Where was his leadership and influence in the first three quarters, in what was billed as the club's chance to break into the final five?

I empathise with Cicca because I know how tough he has had things off-field, but he needs to be 100% honest with himself if he is to continue on next year. If he can give 100% every week to his club, then I hope he does go around again.

IMHO I am going to upset other Eagles fans here but i think that should have been his and Gav's last game.
Sorry guys Eagles lacked pace yesterday and he was keeping out younger faster (not saying better ) kids.
And i love the guy on the field he is a legend but I think its time for a change at oval ave .Youth with pace for a start.

MOST VOTES FOR A NON MAG MEDAL WINNER

162 JUMBO PRINCE RICK DAVIES
145.5 SUPER PETER CAREY
144 LETS BACK JACK JOHNNY CAHILL
120-5 NEIL CRAIG
120 PAUL BAGSHAW
119 BRUCE LINDSAY
116 PETER DARLEY
111 MICHAEL FLASH GRAHAM

109 JUSTIN CICOLELLA

Those stats supplied by the stats guru Spell Check :prayer: :prayer: :prayer:
JC is 9th on the list of most votes without winning the Mag Medal

Just get this man pre -season
Get him fit
Get him rarin' to go
And perhaps the longshot of winning a Medal is not beyond the realms of possibility.

Jeremy Clayton is by far the best player in this competition. Whilst he cant win the Magarey this year, i think he will get the most votes, he has been outstanding. He is always in control, very rarely wastes a possession and is the greatest Port player not to play in a premiership.

Best in the Comp ?
Geez, he's been average when he's played Glenelg this year....

Best in the comp? I rate Jezza as the most skilled player to ever pull on the jail bar guernsey. The guy is an absolute freak.

Watch him every week and you'll see why many Port supporters rate him as an equal to Ebert. Huge call maybe, but I'll stand by that call every day of the week.
