Well then...
That is an interesting side for the big clash agianst Sturt...
Great to see Jeremy Aufderhiede back in the league side having not played for a couple of seasons after having a knee reconstruction and battling soft tissue injuries and form. I worry that having not played league football for so long and to be thrown into the side in the last minor round might be a bit too much for Jezza but we all know he is capable and it is more defensive height which we have been missing since Hav and Schelly have been missing through injury.
Good to see Daniel Schell back (if he does actually play) at the expense of the inconsistent Luke Cowan. Schelly can always be moved to defence if needed and Jezza is capable as a forward so Roy could throw a bit of a suprise. James Moss is out of the side by the looks of it and from the extended interchange bench, Louis Hadden and Trent Goodrem might struggle to keep their spot. Chris Gowans plays if fully fit and although I didn't think he could play for us until finals, but if Matty Westhoff is available, he has to play because he has played in defence as well so he gives us another tall option.
I really like the look of that side and think that we will be a real chance to give Sturt a bit of a shake. Not 100% convinced on bringing Jezza in but let's hope I'm proved wrong, he'd be like a new recruit really, having not played for so long. We will just have to wait until Saturday afternoon to see who is running around in the 2's as to who the selectors decided the final 21 would be. I really hope both Schelly and Chris Gowans play and good luck to Jezza !!
GO U DOGGIES...
