Had a rather loud chuckle at SP's comment...
Is 2009 the year of the Tiger?

Just to clarify there is no truth to this rumour. David is still employed by the NFC. The only thing he won't be doing is coaching the Under 17's because that team no longer exists as of the end of the year. Chris Ladhams has been helping out with some coaching at the club but no appointment has been made to the Under 18 position.

considering everything I feel the Current Coaching Panel at Norwood is ideal to the prosperity of the side.

Freeling ???

I saw them advertise for "expressions of interest" in the Sunday Mail last week. The Barossa League club is looking for a new coach after telling former North and Eagles player Scott Leal that his services are no longer required. Might just be a bit more than 35 minutes though ???

Eastern Park or Pooraka. They are the 2 red and blue I can think of in the Northern subs.

Those 2 clubs aren't really country though mate...

I beleive it is the Willaston Donnybrooks who are also hoping to get Daniel Hargraves from Port Adelaide if he retires from SANFL at the end of this season. Was mentioned over on the Barossa League thread.

Yeah probably. The 35 minutes clue threw me off. 35 minutes from where exactly would help. You'd be lucky to hit the country travelling north from the city in 35 mins.

Oatey is more than the coach, I've seen him at practice matches, man the siren, sweep the rooms, turn off the lights, lock up, etc etc. these sorts of guys you don't want to loose to local footy. I hope they do the right thing by him even if he hasn't got a coaching role.

Don't worry, there is definitely a role for David Oatey at the Norwood Football Club. He isn't gpimg anywhere unless, or course, he gets a better offer.
