Interesting to see Brett Backwell is named for the Tigers despite hurting his knee last week against North...

Has anyone heard the results of his scan and is he actually going to play or will he miss this weeks game...

Zac Milbank just read out the Bays side on the 5RPH League Teams Show...

He said that Brett Backwell is an OUT for the Tigers due to his knee injury...

Does anyone know the severity of it, could be a big blow to Glenelg if he was to miss a bit of footy coming into the finals ???

I think Brett, Bec (our head trainer), Mark and Marc (our club doctor) know....

Apart from that I'm none the wiser...

Well seeing Lee was named in the league team that's one miracle to start with.
I hope the coaching staff show faith in the young eagles small men .With PETRENKO running off of halfback to a young SMALLER forward line might be closer than WE ALL THINK .And of course the on ballers flood back like they did against Sturt .

C'MON EAGLES !!! It's time to fire up - with our season on the line. What am I saying our season has been on the line for the last 5 weeks or so. A win here will keep us within sniffing distance of the top 5 a loss would almost mean curtains on our season dependant on other results of course. I'm urging all supporters of our great club to get out to Oval Ave on Woodville Heritage Day and cheer the boys on to victory. I like the inclusion of Petrenko he brings great rebound from the backline if our midfielders can get first hands to the footy and our forwards fire up I can see a win to the eags in what will be a very close game.

PS: Passador has been very quiet of late it wouldn't at all surprise me to see him fire up with a big bag of goals.

GO EAGLES GO GO GO !!!
