Some would say that with what he had at his disposal he was expected to win 10. From what I understand some of those blokes don't hold him in the same regard as what the record books might suggest.

whats this delaney and R.Smith dont even rate in the same breath as G.Phillips, B.Light K.Kinnear, T.Giles T.Sorrell, I.Eckermann R.Gerlach, P.woite. Some of those sides Port had in the 90s after Crows joined the AFL were good but no match for the ones that ran in the Early 80s and 70s.

I was making a point of who he had to help win those 10 flags and I thank you for strengthening my argument. Not being a Port supporter I didn't have a encyclopedia of who's who down there. That said I reckon R. Smith played in 8 flags which says something
