Huge surprise to see Salter dropped. Can understand the others. A few young kids getting a go. I'd like to see Hall and Goldsworthy get a game if they're going to go the kids option, as they have more long term potential than some of the others. Hope McGregor is properly fit this week.

Gee Cica didn't last very long again did he
And the 16 yo goldsworthy is named on the bench
Hall is back in after the state games

And a young ruck man in 2's Hill keep your eye on him .I liked the look of him last year in the two's against the dogs .

Perhaps Salter is dropped because of the weather forecast, I don't know. Maybe some younger players may inject a bit of spark in the side, I don't know. Truth is, I don't know what to find out from the side at the moment. What I still do expect is the players to play like we did against Central a few weeks back (which seems like a long time ago now)

If the eagles played in the AFL they would be accused of the biggest tank of all time.

Goldsworthy and Daniel. I think playing them in the league team is likely to stunt their development rather than accelerate it.

Salter kicked 2 goals and had 15 disposals last week.

Fuller obviously doesnt like players that kick goals.

I must admit from a neutral perspective, I was somewhat suprised at the omissions from the Eagles line up this week...

Salter played State footy a few months ago, Wright seemed to be in good form after an interrupted start to the year, Fitzgerald seems to be a bit patchy at times but still kicks goals as a crumbing forward and I can't believe Ben Schwarze is playing reserves...

In fact, looking at the reserves side, no offence to Westies fans, but Andrew Rogers' side could almost beat Andy Collins league side this week...

I had heard a few wraps on this Goldsworthy earlier in the year and saw him a couple of times in the 2's, looks a little undersized but has good skill and seems pretty tough at the footy.

his will be an interesting game and I might go out on a whim and tip Westies by 3 points, despite my earlier comment above...

IMHO I think young goldsworthy might be a little to young and small just yet .But I could be proved wrong .
Fitzgerald well I am not sure what do with him they seemed intent on making an on baller out of him.another small bodied player
Wright he looked out of sorts last week .
Andrew Rodgers has had a very good seconds side the last few weeks .The last coach to get such a good seconds Eagles team was Rick and he left for sturt
