Spelly - here's a challenge for you - work out the average age of every SANFL League and Reserves team ever!
(It will be easy once we finally get all the game by game player details and DOBs in the one database...)

That would take years.

Getting the quarter by quarter game scores since 1907 took you years but you still managed it.
No stats task is too big for Spelly!

Would it be possible to find the date of birth of every player? Even the Reserves?

Getting the dates of birth wouldn't be the hardest part - finding out who played in each Reserves game would be harder as it is rarely published in any publications - need to rely on SANFL/club records being available and complete...

My guess is that the team sheets get thrown out after the end of the year or is stowed away in some grumps' shed.
