I haven't seen Centrals the last two weeks and obvioulsy you guys haven't been playing good footy but to say that we will win by 10 goals is outrageous  I can't say i remember a dogs supporter having such little confidence in their side this decade.

FWIW i have seen westies the last two weeks and i can say with some confidence that Centrals will win by 10 goals.

Have you seen the way we've been playing mr o  :?

I do agree with you though, unfortunate for Westies facing the Dogs after 2 shocking performances  8)

SURELY, we will find some form against our lowly opposition and realistically, a 10 goal + win should be on the cards  ( I hope !! )

As you said! Centrals by 34 (or 5.4 for the picky reader)
But yes, it was a pretty pointless comment wasn't it?!

I'm tipping the bloods to go down by 22 goals.

We haven't really been beaten that badly in recent times but with Centrals, Sturt, Glenelg and the Eagles coming up it will make for some interesting scorelines.

Here is the Doggies side for the battle with the Bloods on Saturday...

Good to see Crows ruckman, Jon Griffin back in a Centrals jumper, we need some quality in the ruck brigade, we have been killed there all year.

Great to see Louis Hadden at least on the extended bench, hopefully he gets another opportunity at league level, has been in excellent form in the ressies. Will probably fight Crows rookie and last weeks debutant, James Moss for the final spot in the 21.

Still think the Doggies by just under 10 goals...

[flash=][/flash]Dogs by 20 goals.

Bloods look Ok on paper but game day can only manage 2 quarters at best. Usually 1 & 2 or 3 & 4, or sometimes just the first quarter.

Yes Morphies, you are spot on my friend, I totally agree with you re Hadden...

Had the pleasure of meeting his parents when Louis played in the State Under 20's v Under 18's game a few weeks back and they are really great people to talk with and very proud of Louis...

They said he had been frustrated about not getting an opportunity at league level with the great form he has been in in the 2's and hopefully this week he gets his chance. I think there is a bit of doubt over Elijah "Noodles" Ware who copped a heavy knock to the thigh last week so the little long sleeved wingman might get Noodles starting spot on a wing and James Moss will keep his spot, starting on the bench.

I'm a big fan of all the young, up and coming Doggies lads in the reserves and understand the key role they will play in the long term sustainability and success of our great club. It might sound strange, but at times, I get more excited about watching out future stars play in the ressies over that of a league game where the Doggies pump other sides (or recently get pumped themselves !!??). I have no doubt in the coming years we will see these kind of names as very good, consistant league performers, hopefully for many years to come...

Louis Hadden - 19 y.o: Very pacy wingman, who played a few league games last year. Has great poise and skill on both sides of the body, with a very strong work ethic.

Brayden O'Hara - 20 y.o: On baller / half back with a booming left foot kick. Wins plenty of the ball and uses it well. Debuted this year and was nominated for coke rising star award.

Ashley Duncan - 19 y.o: Poised half back flanker with great fitness base and silky left foot skills. Aggressive at the ball, is best in the club for 1%'ers and is a very nice young man.

James Moss - 18 y.o: Young Crows rookie who debuted last week. Chose footy over cricket and is very talented and poised on baller / half back fanker with a great set of hands.

Lee Spurr - 20 y.o: Gold Coast native who has played a handfull of league games now. Very classy on baller who wins plenty of footy and uses it well with good on both sides of body.

Joel Baldwin - 19 y.o: A little undersized for key position but played FF, now CHB in the reserves side in recent years. Solid performer and always gives 110% effort, uses his voice well.

Nick White - 19 y.o: A local lad who's parents I have also met. Plays & looks very similar to league FB Yves Sibenaler. A tad undersized but always beats his bigger, stronger opponents.

Ben Woods - 19 y.o: Recruited this year from NSW, very hard at it on baller / HBF who uses it well and has good pace. Strong work ethic and is yet another a left footer in the club.

Keiran McShane - 19 y.o: Yet another Tassie recruit to the club. He wins plenty of the ball and is good on both sides of the body. Also has good pace and is clever around the goals.

Luke Barmby - 20 y.o: Dashing HBF / wingman playes similarly to club legend Peter "Milky" Vivian. Can turn it over at times but wins plenty of it and with his pace, just runs the ball out.

Adam Varcoe - 17 y.o: Brother of Geelong's Travis who sadly had knee reconstruction in Rnd 1. Show a bit last year in the ressiess, plays similar to his brother with great evasive skill.

Sean Brading - 20 y.o: Tall versatile forward / wingman with great pace and skill. He can turn it on and kick 5 in a 1/4, but just struggles with consistancy at times. Very talented though

Those names listed above are the future of our great club and as the saeson progresses, I hope a few more get further opportunities at the next level. I think we are in safe hands with talent like this running around in the 2's.

GO U DOGGIES...

Speaking of some up and coming reserves players to look out for in the future...

Here is the Doggies reserves side for the Westies clash tomorrow...

CENTRAL'S RESERVES:
Barmby, Boyle, Brading, Duncan, Edwards, Foldesdy, Giles, Kelly McGee, McGrath, McShane, Officer, Porter, Sharpe, Shaw, Steinberner, Trevena, M.Westhoff, Whiley, White, Woods.

If my memory serves me correct, the changes to this side from last week are:

INS:
Barmby - return from injury
Edwards - return from U/19's
Giles - oimitted from league side
Sharpe - returns to the side

OUTS:
Hadden - possible promotion to league side
Cole - assume omitted, unluckily
O'Hara - promoted to league side

Interestingly, still no Leigh Westhoff, Lee Spurr, Brodie Hudson and Joel Baldwin. I assume these boys are still injured as they have been solid performers all year and wouldn't be omitted for form.

GO U DOGGIES...
