How is that an over reaction? You play as badly as that, you deserve the coach to take his time and point a few things out.

Better not take any photos of the umps next week... :D

He's a Sturt fan so he doesn't need to worry about the umps

Instead of yelling at the umps, Mr. Grant would have better directed his anger at his own players. Their collective lack of discipline all over the ground was a greater cause of the free kick imbalance than was any perceived error on the umpires part. But then, Roy Laird is paid to do that, and it sounds like he did indeed have it out with his charges after the match. So Mr. Grant was simply wasting his breath.

Second, Kris Grant takes it upon himself to abuse the umpires.

Get the feeling the Saturday Night match later in the season could be even bigger than the Bays vs. Sturt this week...

TigerBoss, I only agree with 1 point you make, the up coming night macth against your mob will be huge, we will be out for revenge !!??

Yes, we know how good Glenelg are going mate, we don't need you to tell the whole world about it, I reckon we could have lost to Geelong in a trial game, playing in the manner and to the poor standard we threw at you guys on the weekend. What I'm saying, is that it was how we played that Roy was extremely frustrated about not who beat us. Plenty of coaches keep their players in rooms for long periods of times after the game, it happens all the time. It would be a case more of Roy telling some certain players a few hom truths, not of how good Glenelg were...

Oh TigerBoss, you are a funny funny man...

I'm certainly no new boss of SA Footy mate, you write what you bloody well wanna write, I don't give 2 hoots what you have to say on here mate :?

BUT... If your post is something I have an opinion, view or want to respond to it, whether it be right or wrong, I am going to say it how it is...

I thought that's what this online forum is for, somewhere for passionate footy fans to express their views and opinions...

I don't know why people think I'm some big anti Centrals NAZI... Write you want about us, I'm happy to read it...

If I don't like it, I will say why and probably end up getting into an little tiff with you but that's how it is. Yes, in my early posting days I would have gone off all hot headed and called you a DH or something but after 650 odd posts on here, and after few PM's telling me to tone it down (from the REAL bosses of this site), I no longer get aggressive at someone personally, just tell them how I feel...

You are a funny bugger TigerBoss...

Keep up this berating of SA Footy's new boss and you might just find yourself with a nasty little PM my friend...

So does kicking an own goal.

No it gets you shot.

Kurt Cobain couldn't handle fame but at least he didn't kick an own goal against Colombia.

No, it's both.

Kris Grant was fined $400. Money well spent IMO. Now hopefully the SANFL will actually look at the umpiring department and see why their performances this year are so below standard. First thing that should be done is the instant dismissal of Tony Dey and Richard Williams as they both IMO have brought the game into disrepute with their standards of umpiring.
