well why didnt you say recent record then

strut under the pump in this one, losing streak of 0-4 against the bays, apart from the elim final last year all of those 4 have been convincing wins to glenelg, we obviously match up well against the blues and with injury concerns, should we win i will be expecting excuses

hate to say it, but the bays will be favoured to win by about 5 goals. while we are playing great footy, I think the loss of Feast will hurt us, esp if Deluca and as SS said, Kurtze is unavailable.

nelson out too and gregory. but, we have some good depth and should put in a good showing.

More will be revealed about our lineup later in the week.

What's stupid Cutter bud???

We hadn't lost at Brighton Rd., prior to last year since 2001 when the Cornes Star excelled for Glenelg, eventually getting the Tigers over the line.

seeing sturt could have up to 7 out (either injured or afl duties) i'll double my tip to be an 8-10 goal win & the bookies may give us better odds than we should be

I hope it a fine day and I look forward to watching it when I get home from Alberton, may the best team win!

Well that's just ridiculous. Are you a North Adelaide supporter? If you were, you would want to watch North play anyone ahead of a game featuring two other sides. Certainly I've wanted to watch the Eagles vs. Centrals matches over the past few years, but if Glenelg are playing at the same time, I have absolutely no hesitation that the Bays are the side I'll go watch.

Without this going on and on Pete, it's because you make one eyed, ridiculously parochrial comments about Sturt etc, etc, etc. We wont have our best against the Bays and without Grima, nor will Glenelg so for one it's a statement that's ill thought. 2, the Bays have had the better of us recently so to glibly say that Sturt's best will beat Glenelg's best is only that...glib. That's why I don't think it's worth a reply. Enjoy your footy Pete.

if you going to state facts state the whole facts as that particular day it was not only kane cornes that got the bays rolling in the 2nd half it was also laurence angwuin (if that's how you spell it)

bays by plenty but this game has no bearing on what could happen later in the year because the sturt team will have a diferent look about it then than it will this week

and Sturt Peter.... the Glenelg of 02,03,04,05,06 didnt win anywhere against anyone... not hard to have a winning record over us through those years....

Records mean nothing to THIS side. The win at dogsville showed that. Its the most insignificant drivel to go on and on about your record at the Bay... cos it was against a substandard GFC sides.

Sorry, my mistake, took a leaf out of the Michaelangelo Rucci book of journalsim and didn't research, thought he was injured.
So it might be a case of Sturt's best minus 3-4 against Glenelgs best. We had a really gutsy win last week and will need that endeavour this week to have a chance, I reckon Rick Macgowan and assistants will have to be on their game also.

I didnt think Feasty would play any way - but if Fabs and Kouta dont play that is huge news !!!

Bays have to go in fav this week!!!!!!!!!!

Sturt will be very much under manned no ruckman if fabian is taken by port as speculated in todays paper. Glenelg should get mules back also i believe. Still should be a good game though. Unfortunately Sturt cannot field there best team.
