NFC it did not appear to be the same Eagles team as the week before .Very pacy at times .

Does anyone know the South Adelaide side from today? Curious to see if it is the same 21 that was named in the paper.

Cheers

The Eagles 21 was (in guernsey order):

Jarrad, Fiacchi, Powell, Roberts, Schwarze, Geddes, Petrenko, Hier, McGregor, Colville, Rimington, Dabrowski, Salter, Fitzgerald, Hentschel, Malinovski, Jacky, Pavlich, McKenzie.

Eagles scorers were: Hentschel 4.1, Schwarze 3.0, Salter, Pavlich 2.1, Fitzgerald 2.0, McGregor 1.1, Jarrad, Rimington, Malinovski 1.0, Powell, Geddes 0.1, Rushed 0.1. ( I missed one behind)

I think we needed to bottle the side that played Sturt for the rest of the year. That worked well.

Missing from that Round 6 side today were: Cicolella, Fairclough, Hicks, McEntee, Symmons (various injuries), Davoren (the AFL laboratory), Paul Stewart (Port/injury), Grocke, Hall and Treeby.

As I walked to the toilet just before the seconds finished i missed fuller looking at the team whiteboard .On the way back Treeby was sitting on the seat watching the seconds game. One can assume Ferrets post about him being one of the players injured at training may have been correct.
Hicks was also missing can only assume the same about him.

So that's 6 players injured, along with Robert Fiacchi still recovering from that knee injury, Staple, James Stewart and Redden also have had injuries recently.

Eagles look/ed better when Hentschel is roaming around CHF so I think that's still his best position.

I think at least another month. I could be way off but Craig is always over cautious with players returning from injury. However today was his best game since returning and given the way the Crows forward line seems to be getting worse by the week, you never know.

Hentschel has been getting better week by week, almost textbook like improvement coming back from such an injury.

I'd say the crowd was about 2,000, we always seem to have a good turnout of fans at Noarlunga.

That in danger free given to south was right in front of where I was. To me our player was going for the ball, plus there was a eagles player on 1 side and a South player on the other.

Treeby injured test this week i think.

An interesting stat - happy to be corrected if wrong - but I think it was close to 5 goals to us from free kicks and 9 for South - The umps were consistent in being prepared to pay the free in the forward line all day - protection for the forwards.

Was with my granchildren at their sport ME

Then was able to get to Footy Park!

You mean 5 wrongly given frees/goal for us and 9 correct frees/goal to South. ;) Seriously though, I didn't think that the umpiring was the worst I've seen.
