I'm sure if Port put their mind to it they can finish 9th. I wish them all the best in those efforts.

the only thing better than seeing Port finish with the spoon would be the Blues winning the flag

In all honesty, Port wont finish last this year. Will finish 6-7, IMO.

But it’s nice to have a dream. A dream where we judge Port Adelaide not by the flags they have won but by where they finishes in 2008

T'would be nice. I tipped them to finish there this year, if only for wishful thinking.
One of my other predictions was that West would perform very well in the first half of the season but then tail off.....

My dream can't come true this year if I'm predicting Port to finish 6-7, but nice drawing of the long bow.....

Currently West holds that mantle after a 7-win spoon season in the seventies, right? Spelly?

7 wins and a draw in 1979.

And yet in 2004, with just two additional points they made finals!

Here's my tip from the "Premiership Table Competition Thread" from the beginning of this year:

1-Central
2-Sturt
3-Glenelg
4-North
5-South

6-Eagles
7-West
8-Norwood
9-Port

Sort of in the ball park, I need West and South to lift their games a bit and it'll be pretty close.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail
