Anyone have quick access to stats on allocations to date?

Is that right, Tas? How odd.

Good point, Wedgie, about the timing of games. Dogs have had a few night games, plus a Sunday game, ruling us out of contention for the ABC telecast.

Games Telecast on ABCTV in 2008

Rounds 1-11

North 6
Eagles 5
South 3
Port 3
Sturt 2
West 2
Norwood 1
Centrals 1
Glenelg 1

In fact, going back to last year, North have been broadcast in 9 of the last 15 matches the ABC has shown.
The very much more in form Glenelg has been broadcast once in this same period!

Disclaimer: I know I am only showing particular stats to prove a point, but they are correct!

And the Doggies, reigning premiers and modern day dominators of this comp have only 1 as well !!?? (excluding last years finals of course...)

Circumstantial with the Doggies lack of broadcast games, I'm just having a whinge... I know we have had a few Saturday night and Sunday outings preventing our games from being filmed, it's just dissapointing from a Dogs' fans perspective not being able to tape the games and watch them in replay later on.

My theory as to why North get more games covered than any other club (assuming the majority of these are games played at Prospect) is that with the price of fuel these days, the ABC are trying to cut costs and save on petrol only having to drive up the road from Collinswood to Prospect. Just kidding, thought it sounded good though, dont you think ???

North are a Saturday club. Most North matches are on Saturdays.

Make that a Saturday Afternoon club. Here is the number of matches up to Round 12 played on Saturday Afternoons by club. This includes the ANZAC day match, as this was a match that was broadcast.

North 9
Eagles 8
South 8
West 8
Sturt 8
Glenelg 5
Central 5
Port 4
Norwood 3

As discussed already, North Adelaide were the only club to insist on every home match being on Saturday afternoon.

On a similar issue when I was on the way to the footy the other day the Neil Kerley ad played on the radio and they went through to describe where the games for that afternoon were:
North v Norwood at Prospect
Sturt v Port at House Brothers Oval
South v Glenelg at Hickenbotham Oval
West v Centra at Broadspectrum Oval

I thought to myself if I was a casual sports fan who perhaps used to go to SANFL games and thought I might head over to one for a couple of hours after hearing that radio I would have absolutely no idea where to go except for the Prospect game, personally Ive had similar experiences with pubs before where I was willing to go to a gig but as a pub had changed its name I had no idea where to go so didn't bother.
Shouldn't the club's be making it easier for the casual sports fan to find a ground and not harder?
(And this doesn't even take into account the varying times and days some clubs insist on?)
