Not sure what the fuss is about . The simple equation is this. Bring back Jack Cahill.

From what i can tell Jack thinks his time at Port is over, hes done what he can at the club, but South was a different challenge.

Oh dear, there was nothing to indicate that, maybe an emoticon might do the trick.

I dont think the problem is with Ginever alone, he seems to have alot of people giving him so called advice come game day, maybe if he locked the coaches box and went on with coaching the way he was coached and left these 'experts' to keep stats or just be another set of eyes for him, a different result may start to surface.

The next coach will and has to be Mark Tylor, in my opinion...........

Timmy G is Da Man!!

Postby beenreal » Mon May 12, 2008 2:23 pm

Anyone questioning the commitment of the player's wasn't there on Friday night. Given the lack of interchange available, that second half displayed all the hard at the ball and body hallmarks that we at Port Adelaide hold so dear. The Norwood supporters around me though we were going to win. It still doesn't excuse that disgraceful second quarter though.

Our list has been turned over enough for now. The high performing juniors are getting their chance. Off field the football academy and finance department are sound. All we need is a settled on field lineup and Port Adelaide will start to have an impact on the Ladder.

We ARE heading in the right direction.

I was there brother and there was no commitment from a TEAM basis what so ever, i keep asking myself why i go week after week and the only reason is that maybe this week we can string 4 quarters of decent, committed football together.
My dissapointment has just hit its 5th week........

Is Tim in trouble? In a word,no.

Does he need to change things during the remainder of 2008 to avoid getting into trouble? In a word,Yes.

I think Giniver needs to get back to basic down the line footy, crumbers at the feet of the big men and accountable 1 on 1 football. We arnt good enough to stand off the opposition and wait for the slutty kicks to head our way, in and under aggresive footy will certain lift the spirits of their supporters.

Either that or start calling a count of the opposition every quarter as it seems they all play with 25 on the field.......
