I hope he plays league this week...
He's still my hero even if he is a little bit crap.

well this game will prove whether glenelg has mental strength or not (after playing sturt & central) but i would think glenelg should win by about 4 or 5 goals at home, i think north are lucky port killed essendon today otherwise damon white would be playing for them next week as he dominated yesterday against south

Geez Bayman I didnt think you would tip your own side , not like you !!

Strange thing to say but I don't think the Bays would be playing this sort of footy if they had beaten South in their first match of the season. That loss really stung them into action.

Bays are playing some pretty incredible footy at the moment. While us supporters want that wave to continue, there would be a few, who like me, reakon North are just the side that could bring us back to reality.

I saw the Roosters first hand last week. Fair to say that South were quite shocking, but North still had to convert their opportunities and they did in a big way.

I worry about how we'll match up on a red-hot Damon White, and Alleway looms large for us, like Chambers does everytime we play Sturt. I think Forrest and Rudolph can do the jobs on these blokes, but the real battle will be whether Glenelg can curb the influence of Younie, O'Brien, Allan.

Having said that, I think North will struggle to hold McConnell, Duldig, Grima and the amount of opportunities Bode, Backwell, Fisher, Ruwoldt, Allen and co will supply them with.

Makes for a great game. Hopeful more than anything, but Bays by 19 points.

Bayman , I think it should be a great game I lean towards Glenelg probably cos its at home but having said that they could have a slight letdown , they have built themselves up for 2 big games.

But anyway , good for you leading the tipping , you must have a great understanding of the game but you winning doesnt mean I have no idea surely ?

But I was interested in your tip because here is your courageous tip when Gleneleg played Sturt.

i agree sjab & i think if we win the centre we will win the game but on safooty i'm letting them think that i think sturt will win so i/we don't get them all going at us come saturday night but we must win the centre & if you recall the trial game when our best was out there we murdered them in the middle

You little Devil Bayman.

To win a SAFOOTY tipping comp
You need intelligent tips from intelligent people
I must say catergorically that anyone who wins the SAFOOTY tipping comp is very astute

Re the footy tipping and Im talking hypothetical, if Bayman had tipped 4,2,4,2 and Joe Bloggs had tipped 3,3,3,3 who is the better tipster ?
Well the way its set up this year, Bayman would be ahead by 2 courtesy of 1 bonus point for each 4 winners meaning at the end of the year its possible to win the comp and actually tip less winners than the runner up.

The GLIDEROL Tigers should win this game by 8 goals.

Making it a clean sweep of last years finalist.

NAFC Senior Teams for this week:

LEAGUE:

FF: Stewart D White Younie
HF: S Motlop Alleway Wintle
CE: Ryswyk Allan Lonie
HB: Sporn McIntyre Ivens
FB: Cunningham Grose B White
RU: O'Hara Archard O'Brien
IC: Walker Pfeiffer Wright

On tall defender lacking IMO - Cunningham not big enough body and height to look after any of the Bays big blokes in Grima, Kirkby or Duldig (Thank Christ Sellar isn't in the mix also)

RESERVES:

FF: Davis Schubert K Thompson
HF: M Motlop Gill McGahey
CE: T Armstrong Krieg W Thompson
HB: Delvins Coulter Christie
FB: D Ebert Brown O'Keefe
RU: Down Millar R Ebert
IC: Wakelin Martin Starke

No Stribling due to some continuing off field habits he picked up from his Freo days according to my sources. Good to see Gill back and hopefully he can play a half or 3/4 of a game without doing a calf, hammy or shoulder! Wakelin makes a suprise return after retiring due to work commitments. Still doesn't improve our stocks of ruckman who can do something other than get a tap at the centre bounce or ball ups around the ground.

Note to North recruiters: Find a bloody ruckman who can take a mark in field play and isn't scared to kick or doesn't scare the supporters with their kicking action!

I hope our players don't have this attitude. North are a quality side and if we take them lightly we will get our arses spanked like South did last week.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
