It was as dry as a lime burners boot at the parade. Despite that the kicking skills, particularly South's were appalling. The game should have been won at quarter time- south dominated the play with a fierce attack on the footy and plenty of run through the midfield, but butchered the footy in the forward lines. The second and most of the third quarter was all Norwood and by halfway throughout the third they were 42 pts in front. South managed to come back in the latter stages of the quarter and cut the lead back a bit. For the first ten minutes of the last quarter South again dominated possession but missed countless opportunities to kick goals eventually Warren and Williams goaled to tie the scores. When the siren went the ball was on its way to an unmarked Handby, 35 metres from goal...
A good comeback by South ,kicking the last 7 goals of the game but questions have to be asked about their fadeouts and the quality of delivery into the forward line. :(

Is it just a matter of the Eagles knocking the panthers out of the five.???

Unable to attend the game.

What's wrong with the Redlegs?

Played 3 at Coopers for 1 miserable draw. :(

I don't know. Probably the loss of Pearce and the non-playing emergency, Greg Bentley, (Shame Choco, Shame!!!) cost us about 7 goals.

I hope Norwood show their loyal faithful on May 9th. they're an appropriate SANFL team.

Go Norwood! :)

Quite an interesting match, especially the final quater! We absolutely killed them in the first quater, and with more targets up forward could have had a good lead.
Our second quater was really crap, about as bad as we have played all year.
The latter part of the third quater and the final quater we were much better and played some decent football.Still alot of improvement is needed, but at least the panthers have the desired work ethic, and with a few of the younger players playing better in the ressies, this will put some pressure on anyone who is not performing in the league side.
James Boyd was terrefic all night and gathered some 35 possesions. This kid can really play, and I would be thinking he is in the sights of a few AFL clubs.
The young crow squad players did very well,Aaron Kite showed he has some serious potential, and Andy otten and Taylor Walker have shown in the last couple of weeks they are already very competent league footballers.
Taylor Walker just needs to touch up on his goal kicking skills.
Lets see how we go against the roosters this weekend,it will be very tough to win at prospect, and i just hope we can have a fair dinkum go and be competetive.
