I'm no stats gurl lol, but my guess is that it wasn't, but thats a guess. They had that great finals win against Port that year, but i dont recall the Warriors beating Port at Alberton that year.

I'm sure Spelly will confirm soon though :)

I read that an innacurate Hargraves kicked 5.5 against his old club. Who else kicked majors for the maggies ???

And...

Who were the major goal kickers for the North Adelaide Roosters ???

Big Phil...

Surely Hargs kicked more than 5 points? I would've thought about 5 goals 7 points and 1 out on the full.

I heard 5.7 but I think officially it was 5.5
Typical Hargs in that a couple of those were freakish goals but many of the misses were one's he should nail.
But as the Port supporters I talked to today said, its better he's getting the ball and missing than not getting the ball at all.
He looked great today, he looked as quick, if not quicker than he has at any time in the last 4 years and looked very fit.
A definate plus for Port.

Agree. He played really really well. If he could've kicked straight he would have destroyed us. Wish he was still playing for us. I still agree with what your son said last week Wedgie

Port had there chances late in the game but missed three shots at goal (one from directly in front) so we have no one to blame but ourselves.

Yeah, two out of three weeks poor goal kicking cost us the game. Hargs should have kicked more than 5 goals and while a big plus for us today, was also a big minus and one of the reasons we lost. Ah Chee also missed a shocker with only a couple of minutes to go. Bad kicking is bad football, and something we definately need to work on.

Summerton was brilliant, helped by very poor work by North at the stoppages. Batson continues to impress, Looby was great to watch with his fearless attack on the ball.

Devastating loss today. Really should have won. Will hurt us come the end of the season.

I cannot believe the 3-2-1 given for the Advertiser Player of the Year. All 3 votes went to North players: Ladhams 3 / Alleway 2 / Archard 1.

How the hell did they leave Summerton out of the votes - he had 30 kicks, 15 marks and 12 handballs and in a game where Port lead for most of it and only lost by 2 points surely he was BOG???

Hargs might have got a vote or two if he hadn't kicked 5-7 and 1 out on the full.

Agreed Drebin, whoever gave those votes has NFI leaving out the 2 best players on the ground.
