Not only Parry out but 2nd ruck Brett King not available for this and next week! No rucks, no first chance of getting the ball, what a start to the season this will be.

Why not?

Does he think he's a Sturt player and book an overseas holiday?
He's still my hero even if he is a little bit crap.

That is going to hurt us with no Parry, but we will have to push on and hopefully find somone capable of putting up a decent contest.Gerrard Bennet has played in the ruck on occasions, and we have a couple of raw young ruckmen in the twos.Dont know if they are ready to step up to league level yet,but it looks as though we may just find out this sunday.
If our midfield can match it with theirs,I give us a good chance.Iljcessen and Warren have been looking good up forward,so if we can give them enough quality ball we are in with a shot!!

Would be good to see the Panthers get off to a good start under Jack but from what I have seen tall defenders are the big problem, will mix it in the midfield though and have definately got more spirit than last year

I think Bennett and Hateley are fairly reasonable as far as SANFL standard is concerned.

How the Panthers go in the ruck this week will be particularly interesting.
