What I will say is that teams (especially those coming off a successful 2007) will have a much more diverse range of goals for the trial games that just simply the result.

These goals can range from
- trying new players in match conditions
- trying exisiting players in different positions
- trying some differing structures and tactics
- ensuring best team makes it to Rd 1 at as much full strength as possible
- winning

Teams will also be at varying levels of fitness depending on whether the goal is to be at their absolute peak fitness
- now
- Round one
- later in the year.

No worries .... I just don't want to face an AFL enquiry :D

Frankly I dont know what I am doing this weekend. Everything planned seems to have been cancelled or moved due to the weather so might bring the kids out to Thebbe for a while.
