Everyone expects Biglands to play after a year off with a knee and they are the same age except one wasnt injured.[physically].

Perhaps a promotional job at Clipsal and a run around Prossie oval might just be what he needs.

Physically in top shape?? He may look pretty fit but 'IF' things are as bad as WC percieve them then I would think that he'll be going through a pretty hard time physically and mentally to get over this crap he's suffering at the moment. Biglands is recovering from a knee reconstruction which is a proven and calcuable scenario with only minor confidence issues in getting back to footy, Cousins, sadly is a whole different issue.
I don't think Ben is finished, but after coming back to footy, if he can, he'll only have a couple of years in him, and that will cancel out a few clubs that will be prepared to take him on, his own history aside.
The other thing is that he obviously needs to get out of WA or become a stronger character to overcome the influences around him, therefore if he wants to play competitive footy, then another state league is a good option, problem is I'm not sure I'd like him at my club!

If you were to take him on.
You would have to have the whole football club agree on the decision. Including the entire current playing group.
Otherwise, politically, it may be more trouble than it is worth.

No doubt he would be a super performer at SANFL level.
Yeah, Naah,..... Bollocks!

Every club needs a player of that calibre.

No club needs a player of that character. North have a no dickhead policy, similar to Centrals. I'd be surprised if he passed the entrance exam at either club.

Your joking if you are referring to North!

They may have troubles in implementation, but they have a policy.

I have actually thought he would play in the SANFL for awhile, as he cant play AFL, but would want to play in the next best comp, which is here, where he would probably also earn more money than the other comps, he would be more in the spotlight in the WAFL being from West Coast, and also in the VFL as Victoria is the home of the AFL, so the SANFL might just be the best choice for him.

His AFL ban does not preclude him from joining a WAFL, SANFL or VFL club next year though he'd be ruled out of some VFL clubs because of their AFL club affiliation.

Some WAFL clubs i.e. East Fremantle, Peel Thunder and West Perth have already expressed interest so I hear.

My thinking is that a move to Adelaide might be good for him in that he could get away from any people who are a bad influence on him in Perth. He could play in a quality competition and earn more coin than he could in the WAFL too.

Either she's cuckoo or got a weird sense of humour.

Speaking of cuckoo, I was at uni a couple of days after Benny's arrest and someone had printed out and posted pics of the arrest and had arrows to one of the chicks he was with. "If you wonder who the mystery woman is, look around, she's a fellow student". It didn't last too long.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

according to the news the other night 5 SANFL clubs said they would not consider signing him, but no comment from Centrals, North, Port & West.
