lol, actually the more I think about this I think they should just put the premier's colours on there.
Imagine if the AFL tried the same thing in 95 when Carlton beat Geelong. :?

I agree Wedgester.

Why have the runners up on there, just reminds their fans they lost.

I hated driving past in 2002 n 2006, it's bad enough losing a granny.

Interestingly, the replica presented to Tom Zorich today at the brewery had vertical red and white stripes at the bottom, just like the old candy stripe guernsey. It certainly made distinguishing between the 2 clubs easy, but I'm unsure North fans would have liked it up top of the chimbley.

Not on the top if we won but I wouldn't have had an issue if stripes were below. Make it a lot more easier to distinguish.
If we'd won the Vee would have had to be on there.

Totally Agree
I go past it 5 days a week and i hated it in 2000-01 + 2004-05.
So glad in the end to see green gold and blue on top for once!

Fair enough. I reckon they've managed 6 different patterns for the dogs in the 6 years we've won. Perhaps a heritage guernsey next time.

Apparantly they're going to change North red and white stripe from horizontal to vertical (apparantly it was on 5AA so not the most reliable of sources though)
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

Good idea, they must have got the same sort of feedback from other sources that most of us on here felt.

Should have the Dogs colours like SMAC's avatar blue on bottom, red middle, white top.
Roosters then have red & white candy stripes under the blue
The joy of being on the hill drinking beer cannot be understated

The chimney trophy central were presented today had the north adelaide stripes vertical so i would say there might be some truth to it then.

Back to the original topic: 10 of the dogs premiership squad are under 23, with the Gowans twins the only 30 year olds in the side and with players like Cowan (and maybe Steinberner) to return & plenty of pressure from guys like Goodrem & L. Westhoff to get back, I can''t see any reason why they can't stay on top.

yeah intresting in today's advertiser Kris Grant quoted as saying we won't be recruiting very much at all this off-season.

I wonder if that will change if both Callinan and Symes go interstate with the AFL real possibility. Also if Ryan Williams is cut by the Power will we use up some of our salary cap to keep him.

Word has it Grima's two brothers might end up at Central next season, Nathan says his younger brother is an absolute gun way better than himself (but nathan is quite a modest young lad) as well as one of Callinan mates who was at the game plus the parties and he loved every second apparently.
