with an Adelaide team in AFL grand final yesterday and slowdown tomorrow and direct Telecast and 4 radio stations covering - seems to me to be an acceptable crowd. Yes would love more as we all would but lets be reasonable in assessment.
Criticise us for a small supporter base if you wish but growing membership and on field success is what i'd rather be judged on.

Was a great atmosphere Hondo, but agree it was dissapointing, and extra 2000 people, esp for Eagles, would have topped it off.

Think there is probably something in the fact it was the long weekend too

Based on previous years, not too bad a crowd today. Over half of what the crowd was during the previous two weeks when there were four teams involved.

that was the crowd figure of todays preliminary final, i think this is disgraceful & the sanfl would probably be happy north won as the crowd maybe respectable next week for the grand final

They have the supporters, it's just that they can't ALL be let out at the same time because, quite simply, there just aren't enough carers.

it will be the biggest crowd in 5 to 10 years this week i think. there will be a lot of roosters supporters that didnt go today go next week.. and if tonight at prospect oval was anything to go by. it will be a big crowd there sunday nite win lose or draw..

NFC - your plan for gaining more supporters is what exactly? Please let me know what else you think we should be doing - this is not a windup - i'm quite serious as we do want a bigger supporter base and we've worked very hard to try to do that as record membership shows - so if you have an idea please share it - I'll cop fair criticism any time and take suggestions and ideas - which is why we've surveyed all our members.

14,764 last week with Centrals and the Bays playing as well as Noth and Eagles
