Am surprised at Glenelg supporters seeing North as the 'lesser of two evils'. Short memories?

His knee is fine and will play. He sprinted out of the club last night and didn't appear to be in too much pain.

In the paper today Laird said he would play Westhoff if available. HUge gamble I reckon back in for the one game after not playing ther for 15+ weeks, not as though he was there for the whole finals series. Bit different scenario to someone like McGregor. Symes back in for sure, you'd think.

Sounds like PP will have final say. If I was them, purely from a selfish point of view, I'd let Westhoff play to try and finish the year with some confidence, to reaffirm that he can play footy, rather than leave it with the absolute shellacking he and PP got on Saturday.

Westie will slot back at "home" with no trouble if allowed to play. He grew up playing the position Laird will play him in and would do it well, no doubt.

But if he doesn't play, that just means the dogs run with the same team we have for the past few months, that finished 5 and a half games clear on top. That's not a bad thing either.

I think that caller may have been a bit confused with Shannon... who doesn't need to qualify anyway...

Come on you Roosters! It's been a long, long time between flags. Too long infact.

if westhoff plays he will propably get Shane Schubert and in my opinion he was best on ground yesterday

Ah, it's going to be an interesting week in my house - I'm passionate Centrals, the husband is passionate North.

I'm very happy for Symes to slot back in to the team, but I'm a lot less sure about Westhoff. Symes has been part of our structure the vast majority of the year, Westhoff hasn't .

Plus I always hate when someone gets dropped from a big game to let an AFL player (even if he is one of our own, it's been a while since we've seen him).

Off to the pub in a hurry?
