Bravest win I can recall us having, though the first 15 minutes aside we shaded the Roosters and whilst we looked out on our feet this group doesn’t seem to give up (Quali aside). Commiserations you all the Rooster faithful on here, weather didn’t help. Still probably too shocked to comment much more, footy can sure provide some amazing highs and devastating lows.

And Tipper I’m sorry to hear that happened mate, no excuse for stuff like that.

My youngest lads first ever SANFL game, still can’t believe what we’ve witnessed.

no need to be sorry mate, i know it isnt all norwood supporters.

i spent 3 quarters sitting with the family, and racked off to the hill for the last (i should have stayed, lol). was chatting with a young lad supporting norwood through the game too. i didnt think there was any ill feeling around the are they were sitting

kids only mentioned it in the car on the way home. would have had words with the guy at the time if id known, or was there. theres just no need for that sort of thing.

Great game! Well done to Norwood. Enjoy JK and co. Bad luck North Adelaide. Heartbreaking! That’s sport!

Good to see a close GF after the demolition jobs done by the Eagles in the last 2 years. Much respect for Rawlings.

Two years in a row that the Jack Oaty Medal has gone to a ruckman. So much for centremen.

Yes, thank God it was a close game because the standard sure was low. I honestly think West would have beaten either side today.

What?
The pressure by both sides for the majority of the game was frantic and both sides left nothing out there.
Yes we won which makes it better but I thought it was a really good contest

You’re joking surely

The pressure and want to get it on at all costs made for a scrappy game

Two best sides of the year were in this GF

Maybe I was being a bit harsh in saying it was a low standard game. Maybe I should have said that it was not an attractive game. The conditions didn't help in that and yes, there was a fair bit of pressure out there. However, even when not under pressure, the skills were quite down on what you would have hoped for on the biggest stage.

Congrats to the Legs. Best team on the day, beat the best team over the season. A very entertaining game of intense, wet weather footy for a neutral supporter. Each side had a run of 4 unanswered goals, and then that happened. Still can't believe what I witnessed right at the end. Memories of 2017 for this Blues fan. 1pt, 1 pt, 1 pt

Just when you thought you couldn’t respect Matthew Panos more.

What a player. SANFL story of the year. If you thought his winning goal against the crows in his first game back could not be topped.

Well the winner in the GF fittingly tops off an amazing come back season.

As a 'live SANFL tragic' it was great to be at the oval today. Tough game, great contest and sheer drama. Norwood's DNA is Grand Final friendly - great win, congrats to them and commiserations to the Roosters.

However, to whatever norwood supporting **** was swearing at and having a go at my kids after the game, i hope to catch up some time so you can repeat your words.

Yeah that's not on. Had that experience once at an Eagles game when some wanker sledged my seven year old son. How low do you have to be to have a go at a kid? Sadly our club has em too.

Right up there with 78 and 84 and Matty Panos is now an immortal club legend.

Still can’t believe he, of all people, had that much space at the death. Cemented his position as an all time NFC legend

Most AFL players couldn’t kick that on their opposite peg.

Watched the final goal again, amazing North didn't have a spare behind the ball - exactly where Panos ran - at that stoppage.

As they say defence wins premierships and if it was one knock on North it was their defence.
