show some balls SANFL and make the suspension stand.

It was obvious the moment that the Eagles appealed it was coming from the crows.

I asked earlier whether the crows could just play him or not i wouldn't be surprised if they do, even if the suspension isn't over-turned. The AFL clubs are a rule to themselves when it comes to the SANFL competition.

If the roles were reversed and Fisher dumped any Eagles player would have Neil Craig's footage become available i think not.

Just because your season is gone crows don't ruin all the SANFL supporters season.

I kind of hope he gets off, plays for the crows and does his hammy in the first minute and the crows have to play a player short all game

So if Shirley gets off does it mean its ok to do spear tackles. He has done a crime so he should the time. I don't care if he belongs to the Power or the Crows. He could of cost some-one a carreer

The appeal was unsuccessful, Shirely's ban of 2 weeks will remain.

Probably a fair result in the end.

I just wonder, if being named in the crows side, prior to knowing the result of the appeal, is significant?

I expect it now means that his "first match" will be the AFL match against carlton on saturday.

He may only miss the centrals or hawthorn match as his second match.

Could be a nice move by the Crows, assisting their player, within the rules!!.
