Huge changes necessary off field before anything positive happens for the club.
If it's true that the board didn't like Jack's coaching style/tactics, then this is a disgrace. He should have been given at least a season to prove he could set them in the right direction.

I agree with you Cambridge.
While I am no fan of Jack's I don't agree with sacking coaches mid-season. The board only appointed him a short time ago. Didn't they consider his coaching style before appointing him?

Took a 2's side full of local lads to a GF last year and was apparently respected by all until also told he would not be required the following season, wonder if this decision was made by the same board?
I hear all players backed Jack 100% and were also gutted last night at the announcement

The more I think about it, the more it sounds like a planned series of events where Jack has resigned as a result before he was pushed - although Pyman was pushed and....ker ching! I wonder if Jack has been offered some extra coin to sign a settlement requiring confidentiality?

How many more years do these totally faithful supporters have to put up with all the crap that they get served up by this footy club, everytime there appears to be some light at the end of that very very long dark tunnel along comes another controversy. How these people remain loyal to their club is beyond me, they as a group deserve better, lets hope for their sake all the wrongs start to disappear and there is a brighter future for the SAFC and to give something for their hard done by supporters to cheer about![]()
It is a pity that their footy club does not have the hard resolve these supporters do
