What about your No.8 who squibbed it today.Without doubt the most gutless effort I have seen on a footy field.Whoosed out of a potential contest when there was not even a chance of hearing footsteps as no-one was within 20m .....dismal effort son you are an embarrassment to your teamates ..be ashamed be very ashamed .Rightfully dragged immediately.

p.s. the 3-1 incident was not even worth mentioning

p.s.s. Thank you to the 80 Eagles supporters who attended today

Not sure about what your talking about - ps it's David Biagi not just no.8 at least do some research on the kids name if your going to make comment on him. secondly the 3 on 1 was a gutless attack and very definately worth mentioning. Thirdly have a decent look around the ground before commenting on the lack of Eags supporters there. Obviously we're not the most supported club in the league but i thought we had a handy following out at Prospect today especially on the outer wing I heard a lot of noise at stages from that direction.

The umpire did come over to break it all up - no free rewarded though. I might have made it sound slightly worst than it actually was. Still would have thought that another Eags player would come in and help him though.

Wedgie pointed out Ross Aloisi to me today, and then later on I saw Richie Alagich. Great to see some local soccer heroes there today 8)

Yes it was Biagi and he was dragged for that effot. Thanks for bringing it to everyones attention.BUT why not then go on and say when he returned to the field he produced better footy and his next touch ended in a goal.

There were more than 80 eagles fans at the game my friend I was surprised at the SMALLER ROOSTERS fan base this year two years ago at the same round 1 game you could not move due to ROOSTERS fans .
Has anyone mentioned about the parking everyone complains about woodville I arrived at 10.45 am and had to park a mile away only parking on one side of the road. What a joke for all fans to try and park.

Regarding the 3 on 1 incident, I don't think any other Eagles player knew about it because there was only two North players and Schwarze in the 50 when it began. Everyone else apart from the third North player was watching the play or in the play. And just like some topics which get recycled on here, no Eagle fan who goes to the matches needs to be reminded of the lack of numbers as we are there supporting our club! We already know that! So, why not call anyone who you know is an Eagles supporter, but an armchair one at that and tell them?

There were some familiar looking passgaes of play that I as a fan have come to know over the last decade, but amongst it some poor decision making and not being in the right position at the right time. But that's to be expected from a side with a lack of inexperience probably not seen since 2002. That's also a positive because of the ability not to give up - as seen in the last quarter.

Mind you, the closeness of the margin was due to the the score itself (18.2). Hence:

It's the first time that 18.2 (110) has been scored in a match by one team
The equal lowest amount of behinds scored by at team at Prospect
The 2nd most accurate score in a match by a team with 15 or more scoring shots - Ports' 19.2 in 1993 is the most accurate
The highest losing score by Eagles against North Adelaide - previous was 15.10 in Round 1 2006

Mickey, that's crazy talk. We got there after 12 & still got a park within 100m of the ground, what were you driving, a circus semi?

I thought the Eagles fans made a fair bit of noise today considering their small numbers, and everyone knows a Crow game at footy park works against them. I'm not sure why anybody would bag the Eagle fans there today they did alright.

No when I got there .There were cars already lining the streets .A mile away might be a bit far fetched but it was a fair walk . We drove up the street from Prospect road that leads to the oval not a car park all taken (except the permit ones)we turned before the 25 km sign and went around a couple of corners then got a park .
Sorry but at woodville Glenelg Elizabeth when I get to the ground at 10.45 normally get a park very close .In fact right near the entrance gates .
And I was not the only one at the ground saying about the car parking.
After Wedgies parking ticket I didnt want to get one.

There were a lot of bad signs for the EAGLES today small little things .But there were some very good signs as well. Determination being one of them.

Following on from my last post:
Equal lowest behinds scored by Eagles - also 15.2 (92) against South in Round 18 1998
Lowest number of behinds by Eagles against North - previous was 12.4 (76) in Round 9 1997
The only time that North has conceded less than two behinds was in 1909 - South scored 2.0 (12) to North 2.15 (27) in Round 3 of that year. It is the 5th time that North has conceded 2 behinds, last was in Round 13 1981 when Torrens scored 10.2 (62) to 9.7 (61)

Good thinking mickyj, because no Eagles player has kicked more than 8 goals in a losing side. Scott Morphett kicked 8 goals in a losing side twice in 1991 - 8.2 against Port in Round 9 and 8.3 against West in Round 24.
Also, Schwarze has become the 6th Eagles player to kick 7 goals or more in a match twice or better - the Kluzek brothers, Morphett, Andrew Taylor and a player who was missing from the side today, Mark Passador.
Schwarze has equalled the most number of goals kicked by an Eagles player in Round 1 - Passador also got 8 last year.

I got there about noon and had to walk all of 50 metres to the ground.
Have some of these whingers been to SANFL games before? :?
Ironically I didn't pick up my media pass till I was at the game which would mean I'd have to walk 10m to the ground.

I didn't see whatever incident the whingers are talking about but if I was an Eagles supporter after the incident against Matty Campbell 2 years ago I'd shut the **** up before embarassing myself.

North were a 6-8 goal better side today but the highlight of my day was spending time with Ross Aloisi, what a top bloke! :D

PS I finally got my donut from CD, what a great bloke and a great effort! :D
