Luke spent several seasons at the Magpies from 2008-2013. Luke has spent the past few years playing at Tailem Bend, Padthaway and most recently for Unley/Mercedes Jets in Division 2 of the Amateur League where he won the League Medal.

Luke is looking at rekindling his SANFL career and chose Glenelg due to his friendship with Senior Coach, Matt Lokan with whom he played footy at Port.

We look forward to seeing Luke in Glenelg colours next year and welcome him and his partner Lisa to the Club.

Will be great to see him back. Captained the ex-EP Sharks team which won the Mortlock Shield this year from memory.

Good signing. Used to enjoy watching him and Thewlis matched up on each other.

Another player leaving South? Can we have a COLA (cost of losing allowance) to retain players?

Plus Mitchell and maybe another key position player from the League could be quitting due the demands of playing footy at North is too much due to his work commitments of a shift worker. If the club can develop a modified footy program, I'm sure he would consider staying.

Norwood will regain the services of 2012 premiership player Jaryd Cachia, who played 13 games for Carlton and spent last season playing VFL for Richmond.
The Redlegs are also hopeful of regaining ex-premiership players Matthew Fuller (Western Bulldogs) and Andrew Kirwan (travel) and are understood to be chasing delisted Crows rookie Anthony Wilson, another ex-Redlegs premiership player. The club has also appointed former player Jarrod Cotton to the newly created role of director of coach and player development.

Glenelg has signed former Port Adelaide Magpies player Luke Harder.

North Adelaide has announced the re-signing of 10 experienced players including Derek Wanganeen, Marlon Motlop, Lewis Johnston, Mitch Clisby, Max Thring and George Thring.
