Why would he? He hasn't resorted to taking the piss re another players injury!!!

Making comments about players being duds etc or not upto it etc is "fair" game IMO but having a laugh (and not for the first time) about injury is just poor form regardless of whether the player used to play for your club or not!

I agree with u with the injury thing.what I don't like being told is WWT always recruit dud VFL/afl players by fan of a club that could be put in that boat. When clearly along with duds like biagi or toia (we both fell for that one) WWT has done very well from the VFL and country vic .

And clearly"G"'s comment about Couch was uncalled for because he certainly has some skills(I watched him play in all of his H&W games this year did "G") .To me he just seemed to be injury prone.I would like to think that NA like WWT has what is called at oval ave Project palyers .Or players for the future .
Well I suppose under Jars you may well not have but I am pretty sure under the new Coach with a Doggies connection you just might start.

Fair call Mickyj but all clubs recruit duds - not just North and the Eagles so I wouldn't get too upset by it.

The fact Koops name came up says it all!

MMM my research showed me Cheep played all the Geelong games in 2007 and then was dropped for returning AFL players.sounds like many SANFL players to me.What he did this year no idea .
My research also tells me there will be more ex AFL palyers in the vfl in 09 .i wonder how many vics from either league will come to adelaide.

Couch has showed some signs .BUT he is not an in and under player .But more like what they call an outrider in the AFL.

Thanks Locky I notice it says"state" league. How many Vic country players will end up in the SANFL now.
Perhaps someone was correct in saying the Eagles have been in talks with a Mildura FF ,would be a cheaper option than a VFL player.

Why a full-forward though? If Schwarze is intending to leave, ok, but is it an intention to have both the recruit and Passador working in tandem?

Spelly its an unconfirmed rumor about the Mildura FF .I didnt post it but someone did in this topic.
And for myself the way that report was written SANFL clubs might chase cheaper recruits from Vic country areas . Why spend the extra money on every recruit if you can pick a bargain in the country areas of Victoria ,NSW(mackie should have been an example) and WA.
One thing I have learn't since EBA'S have been in the workforce.Everything must be worded correctly .Otherwise some one will twist it to their advantage.

Cheers

Will be interesting to see what happens with the 3 Norwood aligned Crows players who were delisted by their AFL club today...

Kris Massie, Luke Jericho and Bryce Campbell ?????

Will they find new AFL homes through the Pre Season Draft ???

If not, will they stay in SA and play out in the SANFL with the Redlegs ???

None of the 3 are Norwood originals so will they look at other offers or will they head home ???

Massie is from Victoria originally I think, Cambpell came over from the ACT and Jericho is a Westies boy originally ???

Will be interesting to see what eventuates with these 3 particular individuals ???

I doubt very much anyone would let Ackland on...

If he is picked up by Richmond, I'll...um...*refrain from making big statements because it may just happen yet*.

I reakon Jericho and Massie are a good chance to be re-drafted by another club, particularly as late picks in the national draft or free pick-ups in the PSD.

I don't think Campbell will get picked up anywhere else.

Norwood ought to push hard for all three. If they lose some or all of these lads, and Walker plays some games for the Crows (until he is deemed to be too old at 24), the Legs may struggle a wee bit.

Then again, some Legs supporters would argue that they have played good footy without the impact of any of the three lads.

As much as I think Massie was in over his head a lot of the time at AFL level, he is a solid player (who showed flashes of brilliance in amongst some of the cringeworthy mistakes) who I'd like to see at the 'legs next year on a full time basis, provided of course that he doesn't get picked up in the PSD. If he played a full season at the Parade, I think both player and club would get a lot out of it. Hoping the board push hard to get/keep him if things pan out that way.

Not too sure about Jericho, but I'd also like to see Campbell at the Parade next year. As Meatloaf says, 2 out of 3 etc :)
C'mon you Reds....Adelaide United = its just like watching Brasil!!!

I love both footy[NOT the V/AFL!] and soccer, is that even allowed??;)
