Well done panthers!! A great gutsy win against a highly fancied opponent.
That win will do so much for the confidence of the boys, knowing that if you put in 100 percent the desired results will eventually come. There are quite a few new players in the team, and the impressive part was we had two 18 year olds in the midfield in Andy Otten and James Boyd. Ian Prendergast played a blinder along with Torney and young Mitch Sandery did some good things.
Tough game against the magpies this week, especially being at Alberton but these are the games to look forward too.We have two good forwards in Benny Warren and Denis Illjescen, and if we can give them enough opportunities who knows?

i think this statement needs some more investigating...what is the record between these two clubs for the last 5 or so years?

I was wondering that myself Jimmy. According to the wiki on footysa, in 2007 South won the first game and the Bays belted them in the second.
According to Spelly's bitching rules three wins in a row establishes a bitch run and two wins are required to break it. So I still haven't found the answer, my research is inconclusive.

No worries...Punky's explained and didn't intend to cause any offence or anything.

I was going to put a link on the 'other sport' forum for any motorsport fans that might have heard of them...guess I don't need to now.

So Thewlis is up at the tribunal as well for striking Bode.
So will Bode attend as a witness or will he be charged for striking Handby(twice) and tripping Thewlis.

Thewlis received a reprimand.

Don't know the outcome of Grima's case or if any others were brought.

According to Rushby on SL.org, Grima got one week. A big thank you to teh CDFC for loaning us Chris Gowans's GF advocate....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
