DARREN CHANDLER: I think they will be back. The intention is to have Port Adelaide and the Crows in the SANFL next year.

Yes, the SANFL wants them back in BUT does the crows want to be back in & where will the money come from to support a Power ressies team.

The Crows definitely want to be back in the SANFL next year.

South might be shorter this time next week, about the only value I can see but 'm always wary of flag odds when you usually get better odds from just backing and reinvesting on a team each game of the finals. South would possibly be close to 9.00 if you just back them to win each game, reinvesting.
A couple of years ago I knew people jumping on North at 15 - 20/1 when they would have got close to 50/1 just backing them each final and reinvesting. I backed North in 3 of the 4 finals and did better than them.

Obviously less finals this year makes a difference.

Lets hope the AFL do slash lists making AFL clubs in the SANFL an impossible exercise.
This years comp has been such a huge breath of fresh air compared to other comps, only comp that was less compromised instead of more compromised.
Most enjoyable SANFL in possibly decades and easily the most interested I and others I know have been in it in many years.
Its been great seeing so many regular faces almost every week at games instead of every month or two.

This may have been mention earlier but why have we a staggered final round. It seems strange with NA and SA having 1 less rest day although that may not mean much with semi's played on a Sunday.

SFL finals are at Noarlunga on the Saturday.
7 days, 8 days, makes no difference.
Both sides will be taking it easy too with nothing riding on the game.

Just read this.,,,,

“ JEFF ANDREWS GONE?

It’s been alleged Central District and Senior Coach Jeff Andrews have today parted ways.
Andrews signed with Central District late last year and was into his first year of a three-year-deal.
He guided the Dogs to three wins in their past six games including a one point victory over Minor Premiers the Eagles on Saturday at Elizabeth.”

Interesting...what's your source?

Also, I note that Centrals' win on Saturday was by four points, not one. Seems to suggest to me the source might not be a stickler for precise facts. ;)
