Not good from a supposed professional club but considering the Football Manager has strong ties with a Mallee League club are you really suprised!

It doesn't matter who is allegiance may be with. This is unprofessional in every respect and he should have been accountable for the action. North Adelaide, like every League club has many clubs within their zone, I reckon the Mallee league and in particular Karoonda footy club is in Westies zone.

I was being flippant re my previous comment and I agree with you 110% - very unprofessional.

The President spoke before presentations tonight and said an off field incident had resulted in 3 players being suspended. He didn't name them but said if you wanted to know then ask someone in the know - needless to say players and officials were beseiged after presentations. The President also said that a final determination will be made on Monday after the full details have been investigated.

My mail is that the club will release / sack all 3 on Monday.

In any case it is a worry with some other player discontent stories at North and in addition to the above 3, Tim Martin is having a break and Ladhams has retired.

More to come in the following days!

Tim Martin will be lining up for Uraidla in the Hills Football League next Saturday.

Got the story on the alleged incident, not sure that the club can suspend one of the players, he resigned from the club on Friday before the incident took place.

My query still relates to a club official releasing sensitive information to someone outside of the NAFC. The person that allowed the release should be sacked. This is what started the whole issue in the first place.

Be interested to see what statement the club issues and to whom, media wouldn't give a stuff so I guess it will be to the members, I think that there was more than just the one issue of leaked information that has caused a furor over the last couple of weeks, I just hope that the NAFC do not try and cover the entire set of circumstances up and release all which we know will probably not happen, I just hope the players that are left don't worry about all of this and get their minds back on the job properly as hard as it may seem

Surely recruiting has to come under the coaches umbrella as he should be the one directing the staffers as to the type of player he needs/wants.
My next point is Elliott and Moore are highly over-rated in the jobs they do at Prospect.
- Elliott was kissed on the proverbial when Norths Saint [Rob Gerard] resurrected the club and made his job a piece of cake and Moore should pull his head in and follow his job description and not think he knows everything about Football.

North have had some great ex AFL playrs and some ordinary ones, but that's the story at most clubs, Ward's looking OK and IMHO Ben Hart was our best player last year, even bettr than the Magarey Medalist, so I don't think that's the issue.

Surplus midfielders? Send them this way, and any backmen too.

Schubert was named in the ladhams post spelly wonder if our mob has had a sniff overnight.
And before my mate Wedgie remembers everything i wrote when north took toia etc .I have never written a bad or incorrect post on here   nice joke .

Schubert was the player I thought would be a good pickup, for sure. It would be nice to see some sniffing.

Doubt he'll be picked up this year, he's going in for an op this week and will be out for 6 weeks. (maybe out is the wrong term, perhaps unable to play football if he had a football club may be closer)

Probably next year then, he can't be worse than some of the recruits this year - they aren't even here now!

Schuberts feet are a bit of an issue at the moment. I dont think he is going to play football anywhere for the rest of the year. As for beyond that, id be surprised if he plays in the SANFL in the future.

Well it's no secret that Coulter quit and the actions of he and the other two players as a result of being on the "list" have caused all this but the club will officially sack the 3 despite the fact one walked out!

There are only 2 people who could have supplied that document to the President of Greenacres
and that narrows it down quite clearly. I'm not sure how that person (or persons) can be covered by the club in this instance regardless of what reactive action the players took. In all seriousness can you blame them for what they have done?

P.S. North have finally lodged an official request with the SANFL to change our logo from the Roosters to the Rabble after years of failed attempts!

It will be interesting to hear what "spin" is put on this story. If the facts don't come out as are correct, I'm sure there are plenty of us that know exactly what happened and will be willing to correct any mistruths without any slander or litigious content.

Of course Wedgie, whether it's allowed to stay on as a post is another political football that may well get kicked around.
