Tim Weatherald will always be a legend at Sturt.

Inappropriately we remember what's occurring now, not what happened over an illustrious career at Unley.

Go U Blues! :D :D

it gives you a good excuse then Sturtpeter to wear your Norwood scarf.

And Tim gets the chance to wear a more manly uniform rather than that powder blue thing.

You would know the colour because your side has been doing nothing but chasing it over the last few years. Powder blue ?? Light blue mate .

By the way wasn't it a foul mouthed , low life Norwood supporter that abused Tim re Bali one day , I hope that bloke has not been allowed back in .

Good luck Tim. In 5 - 10 years time Tim will always say Sturt was his home.

If Tim retired pre season because he didn't have the passion anymore and did not want to come up thru the ressies then why when he has re-discovered his passion didn't he go back to Sturt and prove it to them.

Was he not wanted back at the double blues after how he left?

I see he is named in the 2's for the redlegs. Change of venue = change of heart?

One flag in how many years LOL. I'd suggest your powder blue ensemble is yet another chasing Bulldogs jumpers. Nice try.

Not his colours, OUR colours! Looked taller and stronger in a man's guernsey, and was super pumped when the boys pushed him to front of the pack leading US off the ground!

I thought he looked smaller, looked like he now had the body of a 13yo as opposed to a 15yo when he was with Sturt, seriouly!

Interesting to see that he played really well today considering he hasnt even played a reserves game the week prior that is not a bad effort on its own! Now he gets a rest!

Anyway good luck to him!

Played just ok IMHO.

Outstanding performance by Timmy on debut for Norwood
Every Norwood supporter would have proud of his effort
First up for the year in new colours and he played darn well
Needs to change those light blue footy boot he wears !
As he came thru the race at games end he led the legs off
He was jubilant and the smile on the little fella said it all
His new team-mates embraced him
His new supporters were in raptures and gave him an ovation

Hopefully G saw just what a champ the little fella is
Sturt supporters know how good he is
Norwood supporters today also saw how good he is

Welcome back to SANFL footy Timmy
