The sad thing is that many are writing North's chances off already - on Life FM, the general consensus was that it would be fifty points plus. I honestly think North have a big chance if they get off to a good start.

True, BDP. More than any of the other years, the Eagles were written off to lose by that much last year.

A difference is that the Eagles were there to play last year and were not just happy making up the numbers. Am hoping North take the same approach, but with many players making their GF debut, they need to settle early.

Agree with that too, but then so did Sturt. North need to make sure they concentrate on the game for the full four quarters.

For Sturt it had only been a few years between Grand Finals. They had a number of players who had played in a GF before.

At least you are here posting, FlyingHigh. That shows true character - you may not have many supporters but most have posted congratulations to North tonight. Well done, Eagles supporters!

I'm assuming that might have been Phil H's work?
I don't deserve it, as Dennis Learey said:

Im just a regular Joe, with a regular job
Im your average white, suburbanized slob
I like football and porno and books about war
I got an average house, with a nice hardwood floor
My wife and my job, my kids and my car
My feet on my table, and a Cuban cigar

Great radio statoin Mic. Cover SANFL games every week, along with 5RPH. both my only source over here and bloody glad the do what they do.

Great coverage today. Called a great game IMHO and gave a great wrap about North's very own Wedgie.

Thank you boys for a great job you have done this year. (off topic)
