Jimmy...i'm confident in saying that we will hand over the wooden spoon
to someone else at the end of 2007. (who? i'm not sure of yet. ) Westies have recruited well, not many big names apart from Cupidoll, Ezard and Walsh who is a westies man anyway.
Lenny Clark back from Brisbane will also be handy...

I think Westies will be the big improver ... No flag on the horizon, but can't see them retaining the kitchenware

Funny a Sturt fan should start this thread as it is a "fair" bet that it may be the double blues who take custody of the spoon in 2007 if West do improve?

I think we'll be a lot stronger through the mid-field and in most other places, but we were many goals behind the rest last year, so there's a lot of ground to be made up.

I'd hope to at least be competitive and rise a few places up the ladder.

My Prediction

Postby dash61 » Wed Jan 31, 2007 5:45 pm

My prediction for 2007 is __th,,, made no many in the past to fall into the same trap this year, Hope to get of the bottom and with any luck hand the spoon over to Sturts or Norwood.

Big Losses : Ben Haynes
Losses : Slattery & Lewis (Both can play on their day but both a little short in the heart department) plus Chris Schmidt (Bris Lions)
Other Losses : To be fair all other players never set the club on fire

Big Gains : Peter Walsh
Good Gains : Simon McCormick, Jesse Smith (Carlton), Damian Cupiddo (Everywhere), Jimmy Ezard (Power), Lenny Clarke (Brisbane), Gray (Power), Tippett (Crows),
Wait & See Gains : Jackson Barling (Williamstown), Ben Dray (Returned from overseas), Dean Galea (Williamstown), Matthew Barber (Ainslie), Jeremy Rowe (Marrar), Michael Hooper (Northern Bullants) & Luke Buckland (ex geelong rookie if he comes) & Heath Commane (Centrals)

So we lost a super player but a little selfish in Haynes, 3 Up & coming to regulars and a lot of ordinary players. You would hope we improve but you would not put your hard earned on them.

Don't try to be clever Spaznutz!

Why would I borrow any garment off you?
Specially where you've left that suspicious hole & crusty 'snail trail' stains on the backside...
Not to mention the traces of blood & feathers round the crotch! :vom:

Back to the thread about Westies eh? :?
