We were terrible, sturt were okay in the second half. I reckon they goaled from almost every point we kicked. A lot of players under 20 games (sturt I assume the same). Not overly fussed by the loss, we need to be at full strength to be competitive, which we were far from today.
At the end of the year $turt may regret bending over. But until then they can enjoy the wins. I'm not looking forward to the game against the afl
Professionals.

great win at the dog pound, erases several bad memories of that place growing up and the shellackings we used to receive. Dogs really a shell of their old selves.

dogs 15 behinds weren't coz they were in the game and just bad kicking, but sturt applying too much pressure, according to the old man and listening online (until life fm kicked us off at 3/4 time)

we'll take the 2 points.
Carn the blues!!!!!

Possibly the worst game of football I have seen. I don't think either club would be happy with their performance. It was a comedy of errors from both sides in the first half.

Shocking first half of footy. Worst I've seen in a while. Good win but not really impressive.

Interesting to note that the train horn stopped play again in the last 1/4.

Not the same game I watched. A lot of pressure and some great tackling.

First off thanks to the Sturt supporters who attended the game. A really good turn out and I thought a good atmosphere. The cheer squad belting out some barmy army standards was well done. However all you opposition supporters who like to copy us, you do realise it is the most sincerest form of flattery. The U blues was well done, and make sure you keep on coming back and making the same noise.

Sturt are playing a very attractive brand of footy, like they did in the glory days. Some real system, making space and running hard.

We were not helped by Nason leaving through the second quarter with a hammy, and our rotations really suffered as a result. Also without Retlaff our forward line was not great.

Despite the result, we are tackling hard and with some of our first choice back, we will be back.

Yep was funny with your own bloke stopping mid run and holding the ball in the air - Thomo made sure the ump did not stop the game and the incident was resolved in good spirit.

We were willing to accept the train horn as end of play at that stage.

Yah dead right cutterman what a lousy game to watch up to half time good win blues.

As i have said before when a young side is missing 4 or so experienced players it sure makes a diff out Goodrem Glenn Gilbee Retzclaf then lose Nason with a hammy during the game says it all.

PUPS skill still deplorable !!!!

Why was Dutchy dropped ?????
SANFL 2000 - 2011 Central District 12 consecutive Grand Final appearances and 9 Premierships.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFF.

The crows Carlton game doesn't look much different to the sturt central game. Crows vrappy short kicks that they can't execute. No wonder AFL crowds are dropping. Boring.

Was watching this game at my local with a Sturt mate (Carlton supporter) and we both mentioned that it was as bad as the Sturt Centrals game. Adelaide's kicking for goal was as bad as Centrals.....throw Waite's miss from 20 out into that mix.
Footy has so many problems with the game and administration it's no wonder I'm looking towards soccer for a sport with integrity.

So the match fixing scandals in Germany, Brazil & Italy, plus the bribery allegations of world cup decisions aren't a problem?

Hmmmm....Adelaide Oval's booming, so that means AFL crowds are. Is that what you're indicating, GG?
