i believe chris is making his commentary debut with saturdays broadcast on abctv match of south v west, so i wish chris all the best & i'm sure he'll do fine
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Im sure with his experience on radio he'll do a great job. I might watch some of that to see how he goes, if there was a game involving anyone but South or West I'd make the effort and go personally but as they're involved TV is the next best thing! :D

Having observed first hand the substancial & outstanding work CK has done in a multiple of media roles covering the SANFL, I am sure he will do very well, it's an opportunity that's been a long time coming.

I second Phil H's sentiments. I have met and worked with Chris on one occassion now and he is a very good caller and has a great knowledge of football and the SANFL. Good luck CK, I'll tune in with great interest more so in your commentary than the contest itself...

One quick point, Chris is doing his normally rostered ABC TV Stats role this week for South v West, He makes the play by play debut NEXT WEEK for Eagles v Glenelg @ Woodville.

That said I am sure he appreciates the well wishes.

I'm running a book on how many times CK will work the name Beeb Birtles into the call. Current favourite is three but there's some smart money on eight as well. Tune in pop pickers.
