mal wrote:Agree with BAYMAN
There were 3 reasons why Cupido has played in defence for so long
1 He now chases the opposition in the forward line
2 He was seen to handball inside 50
3 His team could not get past 9 goals ....
His stint in defence has improved his overall team play
His effort to kick 5 of 8 goals today with limited opportunities was very good
BAYMAN was that impressed he reckons Cupido could make Glenelgs team on the Interchange bench

Cupido trains 3 nights a week and puts in just as hard at training as the others....i was watching him do some boxing sparring before the game and i wouldn't recommend anyone going up to him face to face calling him a fat overweight whatever....i recon' it would be lights out for those who doNO-MERCY wrote:I was at the game today & Cupido looks like he's put on a few kilo's.
I was just wondering does he actually train as much as the rest of the boys?
The bloke made the most of his opportunities today but could do with a few less kilo's & that spare tyre around his waist.
I thought Westies would be on the improve from round 1 but with what i saw today they havn't improved & must have atleast a 5 year plan coz they were ordinary & its gonna take alot longer than 3 years to be competitive.

Having said that - Cupido up forward is as dangerous as any other player in the competition.
