I don't know actually, I only know the three quarter time score was North 13.8 to South 5.3.

I could only say hooray for South for keeping us in 6th place! :) We are probably only in a battle for that place at the end of the season.

Terrible game of footy, at the minute neither of these sides have much to offer, most entertaiment today was the big man that had been erected by the TAJ which kept the groggies and supporters interested

Almost a replica of last week's game with the only entertainment being the big blow up doll we won and the Grog Squad's songs to Stewart in the last quarter.
Man there's been some boring games of SANFL this year.
Don't get me wrong, there's still some good games but the percentage of crap games seems to be increasing.

I think we are definitely headed for another 2002 season, the top three are now 21-2 against the other six sides. And the top three are well ahead of anyone else (with Sturt favourite). ;)

The SANFL should go into damage control and eliminate every team except for the Bays, Sturt and Glenelg and just have them playing each other for the rest of the season.

And if they want, they can choose top up players from the other 6 clubs in a mini draft. :)

Sounds like a fair plan, just watching the NRL with the Raiders belting the Bulldogs and its a much more appealing comp to watch than the SANFL at the moment (as a whole).

I reakon I would jump on the bandwagon of the club who picks the most Eagles players, McKenzie and Fiacchi I could see go in that situation. And a fit Passador.

We were distraught watching our team win by 7 + goals in such a godawful game so I hate to think how painful it is for you guys.

And by what you are saying, it's truly incredible that North are 1 1/2 games clear in 4th!

The blunt fact is that political infighting has finally killed the SAFC. The sacking of Jack Cahill was enough to be the straw that broke the camels back for this season.

If you look at all the critiscm that was heaped on Jack Cahill and how the SAFC needed the modern coaching style of ex AFL players, its fairly obvious to see that this idea has recieved what it deserved.

North had lost Gill to the Crows and we had our two Crows players available as well as several players back from injury. North have their troubles and this is a game that we should have been able to be competitive in. Yet as usual we put in an yet another pathetic performance and take our place at the foot of the SANFL ladder. And you can be sure that in oppostion to Cahills coaching style, several "best" player awards would have been given out and certainley no words spoken "harshly" to the playing group after the match today...

Really dissapointing and pathetic as usual.

Its a sad indictment on the competition, North are currently no better now to what they were in 2003 when they were bottom and only won one game. In fact I'd put my money on the 2003 team over our current team.
