Are footy threads on SANFL Board footy related enough?

this is the first thread I have seen that is not footy related.

so I would normally say yes.

I am actually finding this site very good as it has imformation and some very good light hearted banter. The other great thing is there appears to be a lack of trolls.

Just don't mention other posters.

But you can degrade media personalities.

But what if a media personality is another poster?

Oh, the confusion.
He's still my hero even if he is a little bit crap.

Aah - so footy threads are footy related enough except threads that ask if they are footy related.

Logical to me.

Nothing Barry, that's the whole point, pointless posting about non footy related threads on a footy related thread regarding footy relatedness.

And how is my 3rd cousin, anyway?

Someone had better quickly think up a good segue to make this thread more footy related, or it will go straight to the bin once King Wedgie hears about it!

Ok Punters, this is something that has been tossed around before and raised on this board, should we have sub forum to SANFL board for banter and more humerous threads (abuse would not be tolerated)?

One of the aims of this site is to give people the place to discuss SANFL footy in a serious manner hence why certain threads do get canned as they promote free for all slanging matches.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

With all due respect TM, the fact that people discuss footy so seriously is the primary reason that threads descend into anarchy!

That is our point.

But this is a board. Is it run by boors?

And I've always thought of Wedgie as more of a "grand poobah" than an emperor

As a Glenelg supporter, I require a certain amount of levity on these threads. It was once necessary to help me cope with the fact that my team was sh!t. Now it is necessary to help me cope with the fact that Glenelg is top, and therefore the foundation stones upon which my reality has been built have crumbled away!
