I can add something different to that too, lots of rumours floating around the Bay that he may yet suit up again. #13 hasn't been allocated out yet and he was today allocated as part of lot 9 in the GFC player auction booklet.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Sounds like Norwood will be perfect for him in 2009....

I know that during last season he lost the passion to play, mostly because he had a pretty long run of injuries. He was contemplating travelling for a year this season but sounds like a change of heart.

If he has turned into a hairdresser that confirms he is back at Glenelg then !

Josh was training with the Blacks to keep his hand in whilst he was sorting out his future. The reality is this, if he wasn't playing at Glenelg he wasn't playing at all unless of course Norwood paid the requested amount which I understand was considerable given the points calculator for transfers. He is a listed and contracted player and the GFC were going to dig their heels in and send a msg to all and sundry that they mean business. That said, Josh sat down recently with the leadership group of the club and resolved any outstanding issues that may have existed last year.

So, he is staying at the Bays.

Good news, at 21 he has plenty of footy ahead of him, plus Norwood have enough ex-tigers as it is.

good news, presuming deep down he is happy & WANTS to be at glenelg BUT IF he is only going through the motions until the contract expires then we'd be better off without him but this is up to josh. i also believe the 'transfer fee asked was 30 large'

He is 22 now, and yes, he was seen at the trial on Saturday with his Glenelg top on.

Why would it be surprising that Bryce Gibbs would be there?? With the weekend off AFL duties, probably one of the only weeks for a few months that he'd be able to get back to Adelaide with his family and mates.

If you think we would have parted with $30k for Josh u guys are in fantasyland ... Don't think we can blame our clubs finances or the salary cap on this one, more an inflated transfer fee.

Hope for the kid's sake he can put his injured past behind him and enjoy a good season of footy.
